Monday afternoon prayers ! Time to slow down and pray!
Dear Family!
We will be having prayers for each day of the week to get us through the first of the holidays, Thanksgiving being the first.
Lord guide us gently into another week and especially all the challenges that this one brings.
Lord help us to remain calm and focused one what is important this week. It isn't the perfect Martha Stewart Thanksgiving. It is having an attitude of gratitude and love for our family members and getting together.
Lord give all those who are grieving an extra measure of your grace to meet the challenges of being with out their loved ones.
We pray for safe travels and alertness as we drive or walk across the street.
Slow our actions down so that we may not hurry and scurry. Remind us to take time and take care.
Lord may we ever be mindful of those who are homeless, hungry, lost, and the forgotten ones who are not on our list but on yours.
Lord help us to watch out for animals and pray for an end to animal cruelty. We pray for our furry family members and their owners.
Lord watch over our churches and church leaders who are preparing for the Advent Season. Help us to step it up when necessary and without asking.
Warm our hearts, enliven our spirits, quicken our steps as a response to your call to serve. Help us to say yes with joy and gladness.

In the Lord I'll be ever Thankful -Taize
Walking stick is a good companion in the way specially for elderly people. Old people who face tremor while walking can easily manage it with walking stick. Folding walking sticks are now preferred as they are easy to carry.
