A quiet evening to walk and pray on the trail An early Sabbath Bonus!
Dear Family of Love and Pilgrims on Our Journey,
It was a quiet evening to walk and pray on the trail. I must say the Moon and the clouds made it extra special. These walks always seem to have mystical qualities. God does give me rest time on these walks and a time to listen and pray. I couldn't believe how peaceful the walk was until the end when there was a fire truck and a police car racing down on Broadway going North. I always take time to pray when this happens.
Let's take time to do a time of praying in place this evening. Prayer is always good. Remember you may change all those to Family Members or neighbors!
Dear Lord we pray for
all of our family members who are lonely, homeless, hungry, and lost tonight.
all those who are traveling and waiting for loved ones to come home.
all those who are hospitalized and in care facilities on weekends. We pray for responsive medical staves.
all those who are ill, especially those with autoimmune and rare disorders, chronic illnesses and pain.
all those who are mourning the loss of family members and friends.
all those who have mental illness and who are alone and do not have anyone to lean on. May they have courage to ask for help.
For all those who are disabled.
For all caregivers.
For all animals and persons who will be out in the cold tonight.
We pray for rain in all the drought affected areas.
For peace in this world especially in Syria, South Sudan, Iraq, Afghanistan and all other areas torn by strife.
For prisoners and captives.
For an end to hate, bullying, violence and abuse of any kind.
For our good health of our bodies, minds, and spirits.
For calmness of spirit and mind
For women and children.
For an end to poverty and impoverished spirits.
For those who are living in areas where weather is severe.
For our faith communities and those in ministry of any kind.
For our LGBTQ sisters and brothers and all those who love them.

Lord God, Enliven our spirits, quicken our steps, May we feel the Water of Life coursing through our veins and our hearts tenderized to be your hands, feet, voices in the world and Your Cathedral of Life.
May we answer your call to serve and ministry without fear and and with a resounding and humble "Yes!"
Help us O Lord, to be hope bearers, peacemakers, bringers of joy and show your love and light to the world. All these prayers we lift up to you O Lord. Amen.

Well dear ones, that is all for this evening. More prayers and a mini prayer walk coming to this blog tomorrow evening. Please pray for me as I travel to LA tomorrow. I love you, you matter, and you are pilgrims on our prayer walking journey.
Love and peace of mind and in thanksgiving to God for you this day and always!
