On the verge of a wondrous celebration of new life and journeys yet to come!
Dear Family Of Love and Pilgrims on Our Journey,
We are on the verge of a wondrous celebration of new life and journeys yet to come! By the time tonight is over we will have reached 10,000 page views of Walk With Me On Our Journey! Yes dear family it is true and I'm stunned and pleasantly surprised that we have reached such a milestone! I was going to do a pictorial looking back but that seems too much like a magazine piece. So we are going to have a time together of prayer and thanksgiving and a few special photos from tonight's walk. I did walk the entire loop tonight and I think you will see God's wondrous handiwork in God's Cathedral of Life at Play. How is everyone doing with honoring your body by giving permission to rest, relax, refresh, and renew? I hope everyone is being intentional about banking your energy! It is working for me! It will work for you!
Dear God of Love we thank you for our family of love and pilgrims on our journey who make nightly pilgrimage with us by praying, walking, and praying in place.
We lift up in prayer tonight those who are grieving the loss of loved ones in the mudslide in Oso Washington and we pray that the missing may be found safe.
We lift up and pray for the peaceful repose of the souls who perished in the Malaysian Air disaster. We pray for the families, friends, and co-workers who grieve their loss.
We pray for all those who have family members who have been hospitalized and sit vigil by the bedside as a comfort for their loved ones.
We pray for all of our family members who have over exerted themselves or have injured themselves at home or on the job.
We pray for all those who suffer from cancer, chronic illnesses, autoimmune conditions, and pain. We pray for all of our family members who are in need of healing.
We pray that we may see every day that we live as a chance for new life, new beginnings, and a chance to refine our lives .
We pray for courage and grace in all that we undertake this week and in the days ahead. Help us to live in hope, joy, peace, and love.
We pray that wherever we may be that we may be sources of comfort and compassion and solace to our family members.
We pray for all our pets who are our family members and for an end to animal cruelty and abuse.
We pray for the lonely, lost, marginalized and all of our family members who live outdoors in the cold. We pray for better places of shelter.
We pray for the Political Hot Spots in this broken world of ours remembering the Ukraine, Crimea, Syria, Nigeria, Uganda, South Sudan, and all others where our family members are denied human and civil rights and where equality and justice are denied to groups of people on account of their gender, sexual orientation, and tribal ethnicity.
God we pray for those whom we have been asked to pray for and especially______________________
God we Give thanks for Walk With Me On Our Journey and especially_______________________
God we Celebrate life and all the abundance you shower upon us daily and especially_______________
God we remember those who are dying and those who have entered the Thin Places today especially_______ And we pray for those who grieve their loss on the long journey of grief.
We lift these prayers to you O God in Jesus' most holy name. Amen.
