Photos and Prayers, All this and Daylight Saving Time Too?
Dear Family of Love and Pilgrims on Our Journey,
We are back on our evening prayer walking pilgrimage and now it is Daylight Saving Time! What a glorious evening for prayer walking and pilgrimage. Last evening I was in Los Angeles for Saving Grace a Faithful response to Violence Against Women and Girls which was a powerful interfaith service lead by all women. I'm still taking all of the details and the message in. Last evening we all received white Pashmina scarves with this:“I am a beloved child of the Holy. Always." I was reminded once again last evening that we are all family members. I was touched in so many ways. The Reverend Dr. Gwynne Guibord blessed me with the sign of the Cross on my forehead with prayers for healing prior to the service. A new friend/ Family Member Robin prayed for me and told me that 'That everything is going to be alright and at the same time tears flowed from her eyes. Remember the scene in Harry Potter when Fawkes shed tears? It was that kind of moment. With family members like these and others we can't lose. We are called to be together as family members and brothers and sisters of the Holy! Never doubt that we are all connected, for we all are every minute we live. When someone does something, it affects us all. This week our challenge will be this: To See the face of the Holy everyday, take time to be mindful of our actions not only in our words but in our deeds, and to show love, make peace, give hope, and shine the light of the Holy every day.
This week's goal: Taking time for Sabbath Rest and Walking in the Light of God and remembering the least of these.
This Week's Prayer Cycle:
Praying and dialing in to Lent and what your focus is going to be. It is never too late to start.
Praying for all those who travel. Remembering those affected by the Malaysian air tragedy.
For all nations of the world who are unstable remembering the Ukraine/ Crimea, South Sudan, Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Uganda, and Nigeria.
For all family members who still experience discrimination and hate and inequality.
For senses of humor and the gift of laughter.
For safety in our cities and towns.
For those battling illnesses of any kind.
For the leaders of the nations of the world that they may do justly, love mercy and walk humbly with their God and respect the dignity of every human being.
For rain and gentle thawing in the icy areas of our country.
For all of our religious leaders and for mutual respect and love between other faiths not our own.
For the people and students in Isla Vista who have yet again been victims of violence this past weekend.
For the end of Violence of any kind and all those of us who have become not victims but victorious survivors.
For those who lack a loving and compassionate support system.
For the least of these.
For those discerning vocations to ministries and new life paths.
We pray for the many aid agencies remembering_______________

Dear family let us remember that we are one, made in the image and likeness of God with love and care. Help us this week to be able to lean on each other with courage and grace and may we all have peace of mind whatever each day brings.
I love you, you matter, and you this, please say these words as your read them:“I am a beloved child of the Holy. Always." and these also " The light of Christ in Me, recognizes the Light of Christ in you!"
Love and peace of mind,
Sara
