Preparing for the last chemo this week. By getting rest and relaxing.
Dear Family of Love ,
I'm writing this to you early so that I can begin preparing for the last chemo treatment on Tuesday!
I'm hoping and praying that this is so. I am getting more energy but, I still need to bank it. This is very much like Jesus when he took time for himself. I think God does the same like God did today.Resting and relaxing can be difficult but I have learned how to do this with strength and courage. I'm looking forward completing my chemo treatments. Each day we live we need to find rest and be able tor relax, refresh, and renew. Tonight I ask that everyone take time to prepare yourselves for You Matter Monday! Challenge yourselves to go off the grid early and start winding down. I know that it isn't easy but it can be done. I would like to encourage a tech fast so that we all may reconnect with the holy at whatever time of day that we choose. WE MUST RECONNECT WITH OUR LOVED ONES, GOD'S CATHEDRAL OF LIFE., AND ALL THAT IS HOLY. Everything we do these days has something to do with technology. Technology isn't bad in itself but it does take away the human, face to face connection. I challenge us to give it a try!
Tonight we will listen to the relaxing music of Relaxing Violin Music-Beautiful Scenery- Beautiful flowers
God who taught us to rest may we lay down our burdens tonight
God we pray for the safety of all our troops and that peace may prevail in all the war torn areas of the world.
God we pray for all our family members who are ill that they may be healed of all their infirmities.
God we pray for all of our family members who are struggling with life'difficulties.
God we give thanks for all that you give us each and everyday that we live, move, and just be.
God we praise you from the deepest depths of our hearts and souls that we may never forget that joy is one of the Fruits of the Spirit. May we release the joy and show it to others.
God we pray for all caregivers that they may find respite and be able to let go of all that is unnecessary . May they also have the courage to say "No".
God we pray that justice, peace, and mercy may reign up this Your fragile and broken world.
God we pray for all the faith communities you created. Bring us together that we may share what we have in common one to another.
God take away all bitterness, suspicion, hate, fear and all that divides and does not knit us into the loving family God created.
God may we give comfort and compassion to all who mourn and are in the long journey that is the grieving process.
God may become your beacons of hope and that we may show who you really are, the God of Love and Goodness.
God we add prayers for ourselves and those who have asked us for prayers on behalf of others remembering especially____________
God we pray for rain to shower upon the drought parched areas of the world and in our country.
God we pray that we may become good stewards of God's Cathedral of Life.
God we lift these our prayers in the name of your son Jesus the Christ. Amen.
