Synchronicity wins again and Walk With me on our Journey is definitely in sync!
Dear family of love!
Today was one of those days when Synchronicity paid us a visit. In a good way. I should say we traveled do Los Angeles to see Bishop Steven Charleston speak. Bishop Charleston is a bishop in the Episcopal Church and a member of the Choctaw nation. He writes meditations everyday on Facebook. If you haven't become a part of his ministry please sign up. You won't be disappointed. I never am. He presented a talk on the Stewardship of the Earth. He spoke of the concept of Kinship how necessary this is for all people. We are kindred no matter what. I'm still taking time to synthesize all that he talked about. Bishop Charleston and spoke of many things that we talk about in Walk With Me On Our Journey. I keep thinking how can this be? Every place I go or we go together on this journey we keep receiving affirmations. I keep getting tingly tears and then some . I keep being told that where I am that is where God is calling me and leading me too. We can extend this to us as well. Tonight I want to ask you where you and we are on your journey? Do you/ we accept that every one and everything on this planet are our family members? Are you/ we ready to accept that even our enemies ant those who hate us are our brothers and sisters? Are you/we ready to drop anything that separates us from each other? and Finally are you/we ready to fall in love with God, God's Cathedral of Life, Each other and accept us where we all are on our life's journey, and ourselves? Take time reflect upon these things. Tonight's reflection will be accompanied by Sacred Spirit ,
Gracious Spirit, we pray that we may be united one to another and that we may be truly the loving family and have kinship in God, God's Cathedral of Life, and Eachother.
Gracious Spirit, we pray that we may practice loving conservation of God's Cathedral of Life, Mother Earth, and Gaia.
Gracious Spirit , take away from us all hate and anything that is holding us back from loving, serving, and serving each other.
Gracious Spirit, give us the courage to speak up for justice, mercy, and peace.
Gracious Spirit we pray this night for all those who have been affected by genocide and who have been taken and driven away from their homelands. We pray especially for all the world's refugees.
Gracious Spirit,we pray for the healing of all our family members wherever they are that they may be relieved and comforted.
Gracious Spirit, enfold all those who have entered the Thin Places. May we comfort all those who mourn.
Gracious Spirit, challenge us to do our best in all that we do.We pray that we may answer God's call to serve and do the ministries that God calls us to do.
Gracious 'Spirit give us a reverence for all things.
Gracious Spirit may we acknowledge our interdependence upon one another.
Gracious Spirit we give thanks for all faith communities throughout the world knowing that God lovingly created them and that they are good and that God is the God of all and not some.
Gracious Spirit, we pray especially for_______________________
Gracious Spirit we lay down all our worries, anxieties, and fears in the arms of God and take our rest.
Gracious Spirit, we lift up these our prayer in the Name of Jesus the Christ. Amen.
