The State of Walk With Me On Our Journey, prayers and meditation.
Dear Family of Love,
Today is Take Care Tuesday! We find ourselves once again listening to our president give the State of the Union Address. It doesn't matter what your politics are about this speech right now. What matters now more than ever is that when we have our meditation and prayer time together we are united as one by love, mercy, justice, peace, as children of God. Children of God who matter, who can authentically be ourselves what ever that means to you personally. I have decided to give you The State of Walk With Me On Our Journey to give you all a feel for what has been happening since we started on July 29, 2013.
We began this blog on July 29, 2013 as Melodious Meanderings of a Pedestrian Photographer and shortly thereafter God changed our focus to be prayer walking, meditating, and spiritually focused and changed our name like God did with Abraham and many others to Walk With Me On Our Journey. We started out with about 35 readers a day to now well over 100 and maybe 200. We have had 32,718 page views. We serve our family members from Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Google+. We have a broad demographic of family members who read this on a daily or semi-daily basis. We are slowly growing a world wide family of readers who come to this blog for loving comfort. Not surprising but we do have quite a few religious leaders who do read this blog. Where are we going? As soon as the weather and lighting get's better in the afternoon we will return to our prayer walking route. We will be taking Walk With Me On Our Journey on the road to the Order of the Daughter's of the King(R) Triennial to do prayer walking workshops in the summer. I would like to do more road trips and see you all in person and give you the presentation that goes along with this blog. I am currently beginning to think of turning this blog into a multi-volume book of meditations. I would like to begin looking towards a bi-lingual edition in Spanish. Walk With Me On Our Journey has a presence on Facebook called Walk With Me On Our Journey. I encourage you to like this page so that you get all the daily goodies and so that you can return and read again and again your favorite blogs. Walk With Me On Our Journey is God driven and inspired. We must never forget that God is the author and I'm the conduit for this daily edition. Did you know that Walk With Me On Our Journey has 5 components? It does! It has St. Isidore's* Prayer ministry on Twitter and Facebook, Prayer walking, Blogging, Facebook Presence, and Legs - our on the road presentations! I'm available to you to do this! Here ends the State of Walk With Me On Our Journey. May we step boldly in God's Love as beacons of hope and lights to God's world. As God asked me when this blog changed its name will you continue to "Walk With Me On Our Journey"?
What does Walk With Me On Our Journey mean for you/us and to you/us ? This is tonight's meditation. Tonight's meditation music Susan Ciani Mix . Look for a possible special blog tomorrow with a more meditative focus.
God of all nations we pray and give thanks for all who live, move, and be in the Nations of the World and that there may be peace on the earth.
God guide the leaders of the nations and all governing bodies to do justice, love, mercy and walk humbly with you .
God heal all those who are ill in body, mind, and spirit that they may be restored to health and wholeness.
God turn the hatred and hard heartedness of your children who seek to divide to be loving and be united in one purpose and that is to love you and love all family members in service and compassion.
God we give thanks for your Cathedral of Life may it prosper and may we practice loving conservation of all living things.
God we pray for all who are refugees, captives, and all those who are in harms way that they may be protected.
God we place our lives in your hands God and pray that you will lead us to where you want us to be.
God we pray for this night for_____________________________
God we pray these our prayers in the Name Jesus. Amen.
