A day away from the pond! Yes, times of Sabbath are in order!

Dear Family of  Love,

We get to have a day away from the pond! Yes we do because in the scheme of Lent, Sundays  do not count towards the 40 days and 40 nights! So today we celebrate and give thanks for God, Families, Friends, and Neighbors. Each are precious parts of the whole. During these Sundays in Lent we will celebrate the themes that we have talked about during the week and pray those themes as a reminder where we fit in God's world. I encourage everyone to take time for Sabbath Observance and get rest. No one should be forced to do anything but to enjoy worshiping  God and life.  So dear ones put down your worries and anything else that separates you from God and being God's Child. God you created the Sabbath for your  opportunity to rest from all that you had made. May we take time to do the same and devote time spent in your presence and also as a means to connect with our families, friends, and neighbors wherever they may be.

God we pray for all faith communities that they may be united in the bods of love and family ties.

God we pray for all of those who are seeking a meaningful Lent and that this period of time may provide a spiritual refocusing.

God we pray for all who are out in the rain and snow that they may be safe. We pray especially for the least of these who have lack shelters, food, and adequate clothing.

God we pray for peace in your broken world, may be take up the mantle and become peacemakers and your children.

God take from all of us any hatred and suspicion we have of family members who differ from us. 

God we give thanks for _______________ this day and we also add our additional prayers made by us and on behalf of others remembering especially_______________

God we pray that we may love you, ours neighbors, and ourselves.

God we pray for those who are mourning and pre-grieving the loss of family members.

God we name those near and dear to us who have entered the Thin Places remembering________

We lift up these our prayers in the Name of Jesus. Amen.
