Let us be sources of comfort one to another. Let us be there for each other with loving and compassionate hearts, heart homes, and souls.
Dear Family of Love,
I hope everyone is well and happy! Did everyone find your Wednesday Wonderful and Filled With Wonder? I hope so. Some days we may not be able to do this but God plans out our vistas and venues and people who will touch our lives in very special and unique ways. The caregiver support group that I had the honor and privilege to attend once again did just that. Have you ever been in a place where you can actually feel love and commonality in the room? Did it feel like a big hug and wave of compassion was enveloping you in such a way it felt like either your favorite blanky or Teddy Bear and maybe your old chew rag? These comfort items from long ago still have a hold on us. God and each other are now our new comfort and love forces that we can rely upon and trust to give us what we need when we need it. When you find yourself visiting those shadowy and depressing venues first pray, then listen, and please call some one for help. We all need to find just the right family member to trust our feelings with and who will allow ourselves to be authentically who we are especially when the going gets rough. Tonight let's take time as we go deep into the center and meditate on who are our family members who bring us comfort, who can keep our secrets, are loyal, and above all else loving and accepting Tonight we are returning to our mindfulness apps, timers, and music to do this. Let us make it for about 10 minutes or what ever time you feel comfortable with. Here is our meditation and listening music Lee Ritenour -Festival or I Musici -Brandenburg Concerto #5
or Baroque Adagio Mix .
God of all comfort be with us this night as we pray for peace in this world and that we may live into our baptismal covenant with you and each other.
God of all comfort may we seek as one family with you to find solutions that will stem the tide of all violence and terror.
God of all comfort may we seek with you to find our true calling and life path.
God of all comfort give us strength to speak out firmly and lovingly for those who haven't any voice.
God of all comfort give us all a return to common sense. Take away from us all temptation to fall into a mob and hate mentality.
God of all comfort we pray for all who are ill and in need of healing of their bodies, minds, and spirits.
God of all comfort may we be sources of comfort one to another and listen to you with our heart homes for those who are in need of help and may not be able to name their needs.
God of all comfort may we ever be mindful of our family members who are grieving losses and pre- grieving.
God of all comfort we pray for all who have been senselessly murdered for who they are. Grant to them eternal rest.
God of all comfort may all of us who struggle to live authentically without fear be able to speak and live our truth valiantly and with courage.
God of all comfort we pray and give thanks for_________________________
We lift up these our prayers in the Holy name of Jesus! Amen.
