Making time to use our Worry/Sabbath Box again to prepare for our Holy Weekend of Spiritual,Self, and Sabbath Care or a quiet celebration of 60,095 pageviews of Walk With Me On Our Journey!
Good Evening Dear Family of Love,
I hope everyone had a beautiful and wonderful Keeping the Faith Friday Fearlessly Without Fretting.
It has been a beautiful day. This is the day that we find ourselves preparing ourselves for Self-care Saturday and Sunday Sabbath Care. Tonight we return to the use of the worry/Sabbath box where we place our worries, anxieties, burdens, fears and any thing else that is plaguing us in the Worry/Sabbath Box or Jar. We do this to cleanse and free our minds to be at one with our God or Higher Power. We do this so that we can allow love and light in so that we may love and light the paths and lives of our family members who need us. We do this so that we can spend holy time on a weekend and not have our nerves become rattled. We do this to show God and our family members that we can become wholly focused upon the holy. We do this so that we can ask God and our High Power to heal our bodies, minds, and spirits. We do this so that we may have a retreat and learn to let go and let God. We do this so that we can breathe deeply and go deeply into our spiritual cores/centers to meet God in the holy place of our hearts and heart homes. Tonight find a box or large jar and write down all those things that are troubling you and place them in the box or jar. As you write them one at a time ask God to help you put these things far away from your mind, spirit, and heart until You Matter Monday Night. So take time to gather a box, jar, Sticky Notes and a pen. Let us be about laying down our burdens!
Remember this piece from Handel's Messiah? Think of this when you do your writing:
His Yoke is Easy
Godspell
Now as we place each of these our burdens, anxieties, fears, worries, into our Worry/ Sabbath Box we pray :
God help us to release each of these named concern ______________Release us and them as we prepare for our holy weekend so that we may be focused on you and our health and the care of others.
God help us to release into your arms our family members who need your help remembering___________
God help us to release into your loving arms those who are dying and those who are suffering from any illness remembering________________
God help us to let go and let You in O God.
God help us to become peacemakers to your fragile and broken world.
God help us to care for one another with love, kindness and compassion.
God we pray for all our family members who are homeless, hungry, and ill -clad.
God we pray for all who are mourning remembering____________ May we lovingly respond with compassion.
God we lift up these our prayers to your only and blessed son Jesus. Amen.
++++++++++++
Let us take time to walk this labyrinth as a way of closing our meditation time and as you virtually walk. Breathe in the Holy Spirit and Exhale Love!
Good Night Dear Family of Love! I love you! It is time to lay down your burdens and rest. I give God thanks for you this night and always. If you have trouble sleeping let us try to use the breathing exercises above. Slowly and reverently! Tomorrow is Self-Care Saturday ! Let's take time for our personal and spiritual spa day!
With love and an ever expanding heart- home for you and everyone on the planet,
Sara
