The Whole Holy #3 and a whole lot of beautiful Sunsets!
Dear Family of Love and Pilgrims On Our Journey!
Wow! I made the Whole Holy # 3 tonight and had the honor to be in the presence of God and God's Cathedral of Life. Tonight there were beautiful sunsets that lit my way downtown with wonderful and grand and glorious hues. Have you spent time outside int Gods's Cathedral of Life lately? I hope you have because it will heal you in ways that you probably never expected. Being in the outdoors gives one a built in time for prayer and breathing exercises. Tonight it was a good time to clear the cobwebs and feel the wonderful air surrounding my body, mind, and spirit. As we prepare for the Self Care and Sabbath Rest weekend I would suggest that we endeavor to spend more time in the wide open spaces. Breathe in God! Breathe in Love! Breathe in Love Energy! Breathe in Life! Breathe in Joy! Breathe in Peace. Tonight we may be approaching yet another milestone here at Walk With Me On Our Journey! We may be reaching 90,000 page views since the blog began. So we continue to celebrate and give thanks at the same time remembering the least of these. The least of these are us! No doubt about it ! So let us take time to do our quieting exercises and take time to rest and meditate.
Repeat the phrases as long as you need to to find your way into the center. Please choose 1 or 2.
Quieting exercise #1
Be still and know that I am God.
Be still and know.
Be still.
Be.
Quieting exercise #2
“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”
― Julian of Norwich
Quieting exercise #3
“Love is the beauty of the soul”
― Augustine of Hippo
Quieting exercise #4
Peace be still
Now just do gentle breathing exercises :
Inhale
Hold
Exhale
Inhale
Hold
Exhale
Inhale
Hold
Exhale
Inhale
Hold
Exhale

Now let us be at prayer.
We offer our thoughtful thanksgivings to you O God remembering especially______________________
We offer our prayers and concerns for______________________
We name those things that are keeping us away from you and expanding of our heart homes remembering___________________________
We sit in silence and listen to what you are saying to us and the concerns you want us to pray.
We sit in silence and pray for the peace of the world and among us all. We pray that we may be peace makers and family members who seek to unite and not divide.
We sit in silence and let our hearts tell us what we need to be at prayer about.
We sit in silence and see the refugees, captives, the least of these, the victims of violence and human trafficking. We pray that they may be lead to safety and better lives.
We sit in silence and rest as we we pray in the stillness of our bodies, minds, and spirits.
We sit in silence and pray __________________________
We sit in silence and remember our family members who are transitioning from this life unto the next and those who now reside in your heavenly realm.
We sit in silence and spend time listening, waiting and calmly for you O God to guide our feet on holy ground and to the new life pathways you have set before us.
We sit in silence and offer these our prayers in the Holy Name of Jesus. Amen.
