Time to recharge our batteries and become spiritually and physically hydrated with the Water of Life.
Dear Family of Love,
Happy Keeping the Faith Friday Fearlessly Without Fretting! Well we are back to having our very warm weather again. I'm not going to fret about it unless I find myself getting dizzy and dehydrated.
How many of you are ready for our Preparation for Self and Sabbath Care Weekend? How Many of you have a Worry/Sabbath box to place our worries, anxieties into so that we can rest, relax, renew, and be refreshed as we go on our own retreat this weekend? How many of us have become spiritually dehydrated and don't know what to do? It seems we have quite a few questions that we need to ponder and go deeper this evening as we do our meditation time. But first let us take a brief time to listen to meditation music featuring nature sounds. As we do that let us do our breathing exercises
Place your hands at the center of your abdomen and then raise your arms into a circle upwards and then lower them as you inhale and exhale. Nature sounds water

Now let us ask ourselves the questions as found above:
How many of us are ready for our Preparation for Self and Sabbath Care Weekend? If we aren't this is the perfect time.
How Many of us have a Worry/Sabbath box to place our worries, anxieties into so that we can rest, relax, renew, and be refreshed as we go on our own retreat this weekend?
If we haven't made one this is the perfect time.
How many of us have become spiritually dehydrated and don't know what to do?
Haven't figured this one out yet? This is the perfect time to do so! Connect to the Water of Life Coursing through our veins and ask God to help us to become refreshed and enlivened.
The answer to the above is this! There is always time, and it is always perfect! We must keep on trying to practice our faith and our spiritual health skills. It's not like Mary Poppins "And Snap the Job's a Game!" or by snapping one's fingers and everything comes together instantly. It takes time, discipline, loving effort and being gentle with ourselves as we do it.
+++++
God as we enter this time of retreat and renewal we pray that you would hydrate us with the Water of Life so that we may feel your Love Energy Flowing through our veins.
We pray that we may be able to get rid of any unnecessary anxieties and fears so that we may go into your house of worship and into our soul sanctuary to spend time with you in complete peace and stillness.
We pray that you will take care of our loved ones while we spend time with you and that we may learn to let go and let you do the driving.
We pray for all who are ill and in need of healing that they may rest, pray, and gently accept your healing and not become anxious when the time for healing isn't quick enough.
We pray for peace in this fragile and broken world and that we may be peacemakers not only through our prayers but in our deeds.
We pray that we may be always practicing our faith with calm assurance every day and even when we feel we haven't quite gotten it right.
We pray for all who mourn that they may be refreshed and comforted.
We pray for all who are dying and entering eternal life.
We pray for our environment and solutions to global warming and climate change.
We pray for all who are seeking asylum and new lives away from the dangerous places in the world.
We pray for an end to violence, terror and abuse.
We pray for cures for Cancer, Alzheimer's Diabetes, Huntington's disease.
We pray for a restful and peaceful sleep and that we may wake refreshed and energized to serve you and that Love Energy and The Water of Life May Hydrate us fully.
Accept these our prayers in the Name of Jesus the Christ. Amen.
