Good Evening Beloved Community!
As I sit here tonight following another vigil after many mass shootings, I am at a loss for words. I'm trying to find them but I can't without heartbreak and tears. So what does your sister and blogger do at times such as these? I pause, reflect, pray, and act. I'm encouraging all of us to do this, and at the same time hold our large extended family close in the bonds of CALM (Compassion, Acceptance, Love, and Mercy). We only have one psalm and Gospel lesson this day. But first let us spend time in quiet reflection as we prepare for our weekend retreat. This would be a good time to do our Worry Free Sabbath Work into our jars, journals, or boxes. So let us begin.
