Good Evening Beloved Community!
Welcome to the penultimate day in February! Can it be possible that only two weeks ago we were almost beginning our Lenten Pilgrimage? I know it seems like yesterday and Easter is slowly edging closer. The lessons today seem to be slightly repetitive but at the same time, we are given as the Beloved Community a time where we need to soak things up like a slow sponge. Remember Jesus is the Good Shepherd and we often times are like lost and dumb sheep. It's true. I find myself longing to walk long miles like I used to but, can't due to chronic illness. Then I realize that daily we all are walking with Jesus as the Beloved Community as God's Beloved Children. We don't have anything to fear let alone long for. We are to be patient and rely on God and cast all our cares and anxieties on God and know that they will disperse if only we practice our mindfulness exercises and "The Be stills" That is where we will begin today.

Lovingkindness (Metta) Prayer
May "all beings" be happy, healthy and whole.

Moses came down from Mount Sinai. Since, then, we have such a hope, we act with great boldness, not like Moses, who put a veil over his face to keep the people of Israel from gazing at the end of the glory that was being set aside. But their minds were hardened. Indeed, to this very day, when they hear the reading of the old covenant, that same veil is still there, since only in Christ is it set aside. Indeed, to this very day whenever Moses is read, a veil lies over their minds; but when one turns to the Lord, the veil is removed. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And all of us, with unveiled faces, seeing the glory of the Lord as though reflected in a mirror, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another; for this comes from the Lord, the Spirit.
Therefore, since it is by God's mercy that we are engaged in this ministry, we do not lose heart. We have renounced the shameful things that one hides; we refuse to practice cunning or to falsify God's word; but by the open statement of the truth we commend ourselves to the conscience of everyone in the sight of God.

5 1-2 When Jesus saw his ministry drawing huge crowds, he climbed a hillside. Those who were apprenticed to him, the committed, climbed with him. Arriving at a quiet place, he sat down and taught his climbing companions. This is what he said:
3 “You’re blessed when you’re at the end of your rope. With less of you there is more of God and his rule.
4 “You’re blessed when you feel you’ve lost what is most dear to you. Only then can you be embraced by the One most dear to you.
5 “You’re blessed when you’re content with just who you are—no more, no less. That’s the moment you find yourselves proud owners of everything that can’t be bought.
