A time of prayer and vigiling in the midnight hours!

Good late evening beloved community!

I was going to take an evening off from blogging but, there is so much unrest I decided to come back online and spend time with God and you! You might not get this until later but I feel we need to stand united as God's beloved community. Yesterday was a wonderful day until all Hell broke loose in my town following a peaceful non-violent protest that I had attended earlier in the afternoon. We have people who have decided to capitalize on the riots across the country and make trouble. So what are we going to do about it in the midnight hour? Just what Jesus has taught us! Pray, pray, pray, and turn on our porch lights. This time of prayer may be brief so that we can lay our heads and hearts down and rest.

The Servant, a Light to the Nations

Faith without Works Is Dead

14 What good is it, my brothers and sisters,* if you say you have faith but do not have works? Can faith save you? 15If a brother or sister is naked and lacks daily food, 16and one of you says to them, ‘Go in peace; keep warm and eat your fill’, and yet you do not supply their bodily needs, what is the good of that? 17So faith by itself, if it has no works, is dead.
