Happy Feast of the Annunciation! Welcome to Wisdom Wednesday! It has been a day of being in retreat and online worship. God gives us opportunities to enjoy silence and say yes to many things! I wonder if Mary was going through the same thing when she was called by God to bear Jesus a.k.a. Emmanuel.Saying yes to God requires moments of silence and the courage to listen even when you want to speak. This is truly a time of introspection and becoming reacquainted with our interbeing. Let us remember that Mary the Theotokos (God Bearer) was and example of our CALM principles: Compassionate, Accepting, Loving, and Merciful. We need to practice these qualities now more than ever. So let us begin!

Creator,
our Father in heaven,
we come to you as your children.
We confess that we are weak and broken images of you.
We pray for the forgiveness and healing you give in Jesus Christ.
