Good Evening Dearly Loved Ones!
Happy June 1, 2016! Rabbit Rabbit and all that! Well we are now into the time of the week no matter if we had a holiday that we are at the top of the hill looking downward towards our weekend retreats. I would like us to begin to place our items in the Worry/Sabbath box gradually instead of on Friday. It will help us to lessen the anxiety. We are dedicating tonight's blog to the events in UCLA today and this is A time to end all acts of violence, hatred, division, and stop using guns as a substitute for our voices.
Today let us return to our Spiritual Rehab and practice our "Be stills" and breathing. These will help you let go of unnecessary stress and allow you to sleep better.
Slowly inhale
Hold
Exhale gently
Be Still and Know That I am God.
Be Still and Know That I am.
Be Still and Know.
Be Still.
Be.
Pause
Peace be still.
Repeat as necessary.
Now close your eyes and place your feet on the floor. And breathe in God's love and Exhale The Holy Spirit's power.
Take time to squeeze, hold, and relax your muscle groups and pause.
Now we are ready for our virtual candlelight prayer vigil and prayer time.
God of all comfort we come before you this night to light our candles in loving memory of all our family members who have died due to senseless gun violence. Today we pray for the murder suicide that took place at UCLA . We pray for the victim and the shooter. We pray for their family and friends who mourn their loss and the entire UCLA and academic families throughout the nation and the world. We remember especially Paris, Brussels, Lahore, The Middle East, Columbine, Paducah, Dunblane, Sandy Hook, San Bernardino, Isla Vista, Virginia Tech, Camp Hood.We also remember all who have lost their lives in all forms of terrorist acts throughout the world. I ask your prayers for an end to Gun violence and terrorism of any kind. We pray for sensible laws that will keep us safe and that those who seek to do harm may be afforded mental health early enough to stop these actions. We offer our own prayers as we remember the violent events that have touched our lives personally especially______________
Lord have mercy upon us.
Christ have mercy upon us.
Lord have mercy upon us.
"Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
Where there is sadness, joy.
O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
To be consoled as to console,
To be understood as to understand,
To be loved as to love;
For it is in giving that we receive;
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
It is in dying to self that we are born to eternal life
Let us spend time in silence and prepare ourselves to be God's voice in a broken world.
God of justice we pray that we may have courage to speak truth to power.
God of compassion we pray that we may love others not just in our words but in our deeds.
God of kindness we pray that we may use our voices to heal, comfort, and lovingly support.
God of peace we pray that we may use our voices as your beloved children to make peace and not wage war in this world.
God of all people, we pray that we may be the voices who seek to protect and serve the most vulnerable of our family members.
God of justice we pray that we may we have the courage to Stand Up, Step up, and Speak Up for all of your children who need us to act and not be silent.
God of Love we pray that we may use the Love Energy that is within our Heart Homes to be your Light to the world. May we shine your light in dark places so that our family members may see and be guided away from the darkness that infects our world.
God of healing we pray that we may seek to use our voices to heal and not harm.
God of creation we pray that we may use our voices to speak for good conservation practices to heal and renew the face of the earth and respect all living things in your Cathedral of Live.
God of diversity, we pray that we may be voices of unity and that we may seek to come to know one another and respect the dignity of all beings.
God and creator of us all may we seek to follow the examples of Jesus and John the Baptist and speak, love, act, and pray and be mindful of the needs and concerns of others this day and always!
God we offer our own voices in prayer and thanksgiving remembering____________________.
We lift up these our prayers in the name of Jesus the Good Shepherd whose voice we hear and who calls us all by our names. Amen.

And this :
Prayers and a rant in heartache. From the blog A voice was heard,,,,,,,,
How long must we be faced with the deaths of our innocents? How long must our family members endure torture at the hands of governments, tyrants, and extremists ? How long must we see and hear these stories of murder, abuse, terror, hate and injustice on a daily basis? How long will it take tor so-called Christian people to wake up and see what they are saying and preaching is against the Lord and Savior they are supposedly following? How long O, God ? How Long? How long O, Jesus? How long O, Holy Spirit? How Long?
Let us with God's help:
Stand with the people of Paris, Lebanon, Beirut, Baghdad Ferguson, Staten Island, Sandy Hook, Sydney, Peshwar and all places where violence is occurring on a daily basis.
Not be complacent but actively engaged in fighting injustice everywhere.
Stand up for what is right, just, and merciful.
Stand up against violence, terror, torture, and abuse of any kind.
Stand up and practice peace and be God's peace makers.
Stand with refugees, captives, victims of violence and abuse, victims of modern slavery and human trafficking, our undocumented immigrants, LGBTQ sisters and brothers. We all our family !
Love God, Family members, and ourselves.
Stand up and be light bearers to your fragile and broken world.
Stand up for universal human rights for all God's Children.
Stand with each other and not against each other.
Stand up against extremism in all its forms.
Stand with the least of these
Stand with the voiceless ones and those who are crying out and seeking to be heard.
Stand with the vulnerable.
Stand with God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit as bringers of love, peace, joy, and hope.
The light of Christ in me recognizes the light of Christ in you!
The God in me Loves me Loves the God in you!
The Holy Spirit who comforts me Comforts you this day when things we can't explain and gives us heavy heart.
Will you Stand with me? Will you love one another? Will you love your enemies and do good to those who hate you? Will you continue to walk with me on our journey?
