I don't know about you but, I'm emotionally spent. Let me count the ways:
Sunday I attended a Protest for those incarcerated at the Federal Penitentiary in Lompoc. Many of the inmates are contracting Covid-19 and are being treated inhumanely.
Viewed the national memorial service for those affected by Covid -19
Participated in a Webinar: Naming the Lost
Yesterday The NAACP participated in a National day of action remembering and speaking the names of Ahmaud Arbery and Breonna Taylor.
Today I learned more about lament from Rev. Dr. Catherine Meeks and others focusing on those on the front lines and those in the Latinx community.
Life has changed dramatically for all of us. We all need to step it up and do something in and for our communities. If you aren't doing something please pray and discern what God is calling you to do. We really need your help. I'm a Daughter of the King and our motto is this:
I cannot do everything, but I can do something. What I can do, I ought to do. What I ought to do, by the grace of God I will do. Order of the Daughters of the King (R)

Lord, make us instruments of your peace. Where there is

there is sadness, joy. Grant that we may not so much seek to
be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive; it is
