Good Evening Dear Family of Love and Prayer Pilgrims!
Happy You Matter Monday! I have good news! I have been given permission from my PT to begin walking on my own for 30 minutes on the days that I don't exercise with him. So we are going back on the trail hopefully this week. I'm taking your prayer requests with a glad and joyful heart. Tonight I was thinking that if we began in earnest to harness our prayer muscles and love energy we could make a difference in the world and make this a holy home in which to live. How do we do this you ask? By making and taking time to be at prayer and treat everyone we meet with CALM (Compassion, Acceptance, Love, and Mercy). I know this isn't at all easy but we can do it. Our Love Energy that comes from our Heart Homes is our power station and is where we find the holy fire that empowers us to go beyond the workaday world into a special and extraordinary world where we are God's children and family members. We must go deeper and seek God with every fiber of our being so that we can make a difference int the world. God and Jesus are calling us to do this. No more and no less. Let's harness our prayer and love energy now and not wait until later. God needs us to help him make the changes necessary in the world in which we live, move, and just be.
Let us be in silence for a space.
Be still and know that I am God.
Be still and know .
Be sill
Be.
Repeat 3 times and take time for more silent time and go deeper into our heart homes and spend time in relationship with God.
Tonight as we come to the close of day, let us light our candles and be at prayer. Let us pray that we may harness and use our praying and love energy to make this world a holy home in which to live. We pray that e we may be lead to be good conservationists and care for God's Cathedral of Life. We pray for all people who have lost employment and are seeking new jobs and life paths. We pray for the elderly who feel lonely, lost, and alone and who have been estranged from their families. We pray for peace in this fragile and broken world and that we may be agents of CALM (Compassion, Acceptance, love, and mercy) and that we may welcome everyone with CARE ( Caring Arms Receiving Everyone) We pray that we my always think these words when ever we see another child of God "The Light of Christ in Me Recognizes the Light of Christ in you!" and The Love that God gave me I give to you! Let us love one another and hold each other up as a family united in peace, united in joy, united in justice, and united as one!. Amen.
Let us be at prayer!
Now as we turn our hearts towards our time of prayer we ask that God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit be in our midst. We give thanks for their loving and sustaining presence in our hearts, bodies, minds, and spirits and most especially in our lives.
