Good Evening Dear Family of Love and Prayer Pilgrims!
Happy We all Matter Monday! It must be the wind and all the news and hate filled speech and bigotry that has once again reared its ugly head on Facebook. You see our LGBTQA community and family members are under attack not only in this country but Dhaka, Bangladesh. Death and discrimination are becoming all too commonplace. God has called us to support and love one another. End of story, end of quote. Here is my rant for the day and then we shall pray.
We must stop the hate, division, bigotry, and violence towards one another.
We can't keep hating people because we don't understand them.
We must put a stop to the fear mongers. Fear is the negative energy force that drives all of this madness.
We must start educating our family members the difference between gender and sexual orientation. That extends to Islam as well.
We must take steps to speak out for the most vulnerable of our community who keep finding themselves driven to take their own lives.
We must be CALM (Compassionate, Accepting, Loving, and merciful).
We must have courage to live authentically as the beautiful children of God.
We must all strive for justice, dignity, equality, and respect among all of God's children.
We must above all else love one another.

It is time for our mindfulness exercise.
Peace be still.
Peace be still.
Peace be still.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Peace be still.
Peace be still.
Peace be still.

Peace be still.
Peace be still.
Peace be still.

God of all comfort and justice. We light our candles and pray for an end to all injustice and hatred throughout our country and the world. We lift up our prayers for all the LGBT community throughout the world who are mourning the loss of the editor of the LGBT Magazine and the United States Embassy worker who were senselessly killed in Dhaka, Bangladesh today. We pray for equality throughout the world and that peace may prevail upon earth. We pray for an end to all forms of discrimination that seek to harm, divide, and make our brothers and sisters feel outcast and invisible. Help us to educate ourselves on things that really do matter. Help us to not be afraid of things that we do not understand. Help us to follow the example of Jesus and love one another. We pray this day that we may see and reflect Jesus and God in one another and carry the light and love of Christ to this fragile, divided, and broken world. Our season of prayer continues as we lift up the people and nations of Burundi, Central America, The Democratic Republic of Congo, The Middle East, Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, Jordan, Ecuador, and Japan. We pray and lift up these our prayers in the name of our Compassionate, Accepting, Loving, and Merciful God. Amen.
Gracious and loving God of Love and the makers of families. May we never take our families and those we love for granted.
We pray that we may learn what it means to Love our Neighbor as ourselves.
We pray that we peace may prevail upon earth and among all of us who are part of the human family.
We pray to you O God ,for the loving protection of all of our family members who are in danger
We pray for all who are ill and are hospitalized and are afraid .We pray for their bodily healing and the banishment of all fears and anxieties.
We pray that as we become conservationist of God's Cathedral of Life that we may also take time to provide for ourselves much needed self-care and be good stewards of our bodies, minds, and spirits.
We pray for all children who are facing many trials.
We pray for all who mourn and grieve any loss that they may be comforted and given love and consolation.
We pray for all those who are receiving palliative and hospice care and all those who minister unto them.
We pray for all faith leaders who are in preparation for all the services in which they are called to lead and provide pastoral preaching and care.
Lord God we lift up these our prayers to your Son Jesus Christ in His Most Holy Name. Amen.
