Good Evening Dear Ones!
Happy Take Care Tuesday! I don't know about you but I feel like yelling and going to the batting cages. Yes I'm Sangry! What does sangry mean ? It a combination of being sad and angry. Today we continue to grieve the losses , injuries, and terror that occurred in Manchester, England, we grieve the loss of the University of Maryland who was lynched, and the White House's Proposed budget. It can't get any worse. Emotions do run ragged these days and it isn't at all what I had wanted on my menu and then Tuesday afternoon rolls around and it is time to serve shelf stable lunches at the window for Martha's Meals. The stories you hear, the people whom you haven't seen return and know your name, the appreciation and the repeated thank yous and God Bless Yous, remind me time and time again that we are to be the hands, feet, ears, voices, and shoulders to this fragile and broken world. We never are let off the hook because God needs our help to do the things God physically can't do. What am I saying? I'm saying that we need to spend sometime doing God Work which is Love Work each and every day in some way or other. We need to advocate for each other physically, by word, by voice, by deed, and with our prayers. Today I was trying to decide what lessons to use for our meditation and I have decided to use the ones for the feast day of Copernicus and Kepler because, I think of how many God molecules live with in us and through us and beyond. Let us take time to meditate and pray on these lessons and raise our prayers to the most high God our Creator. The selection of lessons are truly amazing. See if you have any new epiphanies?
