HALF A WALK AND OH, SO HOLY

Good Evening Fellow Journey People!

It was a very warm day today and even when I started out on my walk, so I decided to shorten it by finding the next street that went through. That street was Park Avenue  East! Not that Park Avenue East! Remember, I live in Santa Maria. It's always a good idea to use the common sense God has given us where fitness is concerned and living in general.

Tonight the sky again was amazing. When you will see the pictures taken this evening, they will show you today's art work created by God. Just shortening the walk I was still able to pray for you, your loved ones, the world, especially the Middle East and Syria, and concerns both great and small. Today, I was reminded again by reading on the web that accidents were already happening on the 101 in our area. Please keep all who travel and and are emergency rescue personnel in prayer. If you drive this weekend: No texting or anything that is distracting, it is still against the law, No drinking, and if you do, get a designated driver, and take your time arriving at your destination. If you want to be around for your loved ones and that includes me because you are family, and very dear to me, please be careful. In the coming days this blog will also begin talking about stress, care giving, and learning to find balance that includes finding ways to make your and our walk more fun with touches of whimsy! Remember when you'd grab onto a stop sign or anything that had a pole  and go round and round? Try it! It will make your heart light and make you feel young again! Well dear ones that's all for tonight!

I love you!

Love and peace of mind!

A gorgeous Friday Evening and a time for prayer and singing along with Aaron Neville's 'I know I've been changed!"

A happy Friday Evening and beginning of the Labor Day Weekend to you all!

Tonight was an absolutely gorgeous evening to walk, pray, sing and capture one of the most beautiful evenings I have ever seen. The Sun's rays looked like dragonflies. We are truly blessed most evenings here in Santa Maria. Our city wasn't as busy on a Friday evening but then again things don't get to hopping until after 9:00.  I started my walk with Princess Music and then switched it over to Aaron Neville's "I know I've been changed" album. Lots of good Gospel and a good beat to walk to and pray with. there was one song that was as if Paul was talking to Ananias and asking him "Tell me what Kind of Man Jesus is?'  Here are the lyrics:

Ananias, oh Ananias

Tell me what kind of man Jesus is?
Spoke to the wind, and the wind stood still.
Tell me what kind of man Jesus is? (X2)
Ananias, oh Ananias
Tell me what kind of man Jesus is?
Spoke to the sea, and the sea got calm.
Tell me what kind of man jesus is? (X2)
Ananias, oh Ananias
Tell me what kind of man Jesus is?
Spoke to the sick and the sick got well.
Tell me what kind of man Jesus is? (X2)
Ananias, oh Ananias
Tell me what kind of man Jesus is?
Spoke to the dead, and the dead would rise.
Tell me what kind of man Jesus is?

Seeing the Sun's rays so bright and hearing this, It reminded me of St. Paul's conversion experience on the Road to Damascus. Which then made me pray even more earnestly for the people of Syria and for our President and all those who are discerning what the proper course of action should be. We pray that what ever the action will be,the decision makers will remember the Syrian people.  Let us also pray that we don't wind up in another war where live will be lost. . Let's knit a prayer circle around each other this weekend and pray for each other and the world and any other prayer concerns that  you or we may have. Please keep those prayer requests coming. If you don't I will carry your prayers close to my heart always!

Here is the song that goes with the lyrics!

Tell Me What Kind of Man Jesus Is

Have a blessed and joyful evening I love you!

Love and peace of mind!

Tonight I carried all of your prayers close to my heart.

Good Evening All!

Tonight I carried all of your prayers close to my heart. I was thinking today as a prepped for my walk how I carry all of your prayers and thanksgivings both spoken and unspoken close to my heart. Prayer begins at the heart level then to the soul level and then to our minds. That's how I see it others may see it differently. I think of our hearts as the place where we keep all those tender things. A special kind of jewel box. When we open our hearts we allow love and compassion in. It's when we love God, our neighbors both near and far, friend, foe, or stranger it's like putting in a heart expander. Just like a shoe expander. It makes our hearts grow larger, more fuller, and more joyful. I feel each and every one of you close as I walk and that is an awesome feeling. At the fitness level, when I walk I feel the air in my lungs expand and more air is allowed in and my lungs and my stamina improves daily. I can't wait to try the hills in San Francisco and see how far I can go! Well my dear ones please keep those prayers and thanksgivings coming! Don't be afraid to request prayer. You can even private message me in the various social media formats! I love you, Remember why I walk: I walk for life, health, joy, peace of mind and carry and pray our prayers out in God's amazing creation.

Love and peace of mind!

Sara
