Let us confess our need for God’s healing grace.

Compassionate God,
we confess our weaknesses and our need for your

We come to know you, Holy One, as Wisdom Incarnate, as Flickering Flame, as Spirit of Life, as Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love, Enfleshed. You come to us as the Stranger and the Strange. Peter 1:12-21

You will do well to be attentive to this as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts. 20First of all you must understand this, that no prophecy of scripture is a matter of one’s own interpretation, 21because no prophecy ever came by human will, but men and women moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.*
A Song of the Wilderness
Isaiah 35:1-7,10
The wilderness and the dry land shall be glad, *
