Good Evening Beloved Community

Happy Friday! As I write this I'm in a bit of pain so I'm hoping to keep this brief but meaningful. Last evening we prayed with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, tonight we pray and meditate upon the 10 stages of Genocide. Each one of these is a reminder that we must be WOKE and remember that we are all God's beloved children who must be afforded dignity, love, and respect.

A Smudging Prayer

Creator, our Father in heaven, we come to you as your children. We confess that we are weak and broken images of you. We pray for the forgiveness and healing you give in Jesus Christ. May his Spirit clean our spirits, minds, hearts, and bodies. We pray that your Holy Spirit will help us to worship in spirit and truth. We pray in the name of Jesus, so that his Spirit will carry our prayers to you. Amen.

It is time for our nightly Virtual Candlelight Prayer Vigil!

Let's light our candles and be at prayer. This night let us pray that we may put God's commandments to love God, one another, ourselves, and our enemies into action. We pray for the needs of this fragile and broken world. We pray for conservation of God's Cathedral of Life that sustains all living things. We pray that we may endeavor to be and bring the light and love to this troubled nation and world and continue to to pray and wisely consider the words of the prophet Micah:

He has told you, O mortal, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?

The Judgement of the Nations

The Beatitudes

Let us pray to end genocide in all its forms.

God help us to remember that we are one and that there isn't any need to classify us into "Us and Them"

God, we pray for an end to discrimination and that we may not be in the words of Martin Luther King Jr. "Judged by the color of our skin but by the content of our character"

God, we pray that we may never be dehumanized with negative labels and inhumane deeds.

God,we pray for an end to Gestapo type organizations that seek to round up specialized groups of people to do harm and isolate them.

God, in your mercy hear our prayer.

God, we pray for an end to polarization by propaganda that is used against people of color, gender, sexual orientation, and religious affiliation.

God, in your mercy hear our prayer.

God, we pray for an end of systematic planning and preparation to remove people. We remember and pray for those who experienced this in Bolshevik Russia, Nazi Germany, The United States of America etc.

God,in your mercy hear our prayer.

God, we pray for an end to persecution in all its vilest forms that violence and the weaponry of hate may no longer be used against your children.

God, in your mercy hear our prayer.

God, we pray for an end to the extermination , deportation, and all forms of alienation may cease and that we may learn to love one another and see you and Jesus in each other.

God, in your mercy hear our prayer.

God we pray that all nations will cease in the active denial of all crimes against humanity. Help us to remember what these crimes are and speak out against them.

God, in your mercy, hear our prayer.

We pray and remember all who have been victims of genocide throughout all ages.

O God, who wonderfully created, and yet more wonderfully restored, the dignity of human nature: Grant that we may share the divine life of him who humbled himself to share our humanity, your Son Jesus Christ; who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Almighty and most merciful God, grant that by the indwelling of your Holy Spirit we may be enlightened and strengthened for your service; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

For the Human Family

O God, you made us in your own image and redeemed us
through Jesus your Son: Look with compassion on the whole
human family; take away the arrogance and hatred which
infect our hearts; break down the walls that separate us;
unite us in bonds of love; and work through our struggle and

For Peace

For Peace Among the Nations

Almighty God our heavenly Father, guide the nations of the
world into the way of justice and truth, and establish among
them that peace which is the fruit of righteousness, that they
may become the kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

For our Enemies

O God, the Father of all, whose Son commanded us to love
our enemies: Lead them and us from prejudice to truth:
deliver them and us from hatred, cruelty, and revenge; and in
your good time enable us all to stand reconciled before you,

Woke as your peacemakers, change makers, heart changers, and love energy bringers!

Woke to uncertainty that will lead us to be renewed in faith.
