Good Evening Brothers and Sisters!
Happy Feast of St. Francis! Tonight we pray and give thanks for all living things! How many of you have ventured out in to God's Cathedral of Life lately? I hope we can start to do more of this because we have bodies that need to be moved, lungs that need fresh air, and heads that need to be cleared of social media gunk. St. Francis reminds us time and time again that we must " Preach the Gospel always and when necessary use words" So that is what we must do. We must spread the good news that God is Compassionate, Accepting, Loving and Merciful.
Let us light our candles and pray the pray the prayer that is attributed to him:
Lord, make us instruments of your peace. Where there is
hatred, let us sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where
there is discord, union; where there is doubt, faith; where
there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; where
there is sadness, joy. Grant that we may not so much seek to
