Good Evening Dearly Loved Ones!
I hope you all are having a good day of Self-Care and retreat time. We are in Sabbath mode this weekend and that means laying down our work load what ever that may be in order to spend time in the presence of God and getting in touch once again with our heart homes a.k.a inner beings. We aren't just going to be spiritual slugs while doing this. We are going to do a prayer vigil for peace: A vigil to love our neighbors. Just that simple. Simplicity is the key for this weekend. A reminder that simplicity doesn't mean shorten versions when it comes to meditating and making vigil.
A reminder of this weekend's framework:
Tonight let us sit quietly in quiet contemplation for as long as you'd like and then.
Take time to feel:
God's presence.
God enfolding you!
God loving you!
God consoling us if we are grieving,
God taking away all the worry,
God saying "Come to me and rest!",
God speaking in that wonderful "Still small voice of Calm" and reassurance,
God giving us guidance as to our future paths. Sit back relax and be at one with God!

Jesus, help us to know that we are one with you and God and that we may never be afraid to come to you and knock at the door. Help us always to be listening and seeking you in those moments of stillness and calm.

Lord, make us instruments of your peace. Where there is
hatred, let us sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where
there is discord, union; where there is doubt, faith; where
there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; where
there is sadness, joy. Grant that we may not so much seek to
be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive; it is
in pardoning that we are pardoned; and it is in dying that we

Lord Jesus, as we approach the up coming week may we pray for peace in the world.

Jesus, we remember all of our vulnerable family members who are lonely, lost, refugees, homeless, hungry, and all the least of these. Help us to remember that by caring and serving them we are serving you.
Jesus, heal all those who are mentally ill, PTSD, Memory problems, and all those who struggle with daily living. We remember all of our family members who are disabled.
Jesus, help us to know that we are one with you and God and that we may never be afraid to come to you and knock at the door. Help us always to be listening and seeking you in those moments of stillness and calm.
