Good Evening Beloved Community!
Happy Take Care Tuesday, Taco Tuesday, or in this case Two Fer Tuesday! As I was pondering which lessons to use this afternoon I came up with a plan to use both and have you make your choice from our version of a Chinese food menu, Set 1 or Set 2. From what you'll see it was a tough and challenging choice to make. Today I am still reflecting upon the Martin Luther King Weekend and soaking in all the wisdom from the many speeches, sermons, and voices that have come out strong in solidarity with one another and a resolve to stay in the struggle until everyone is free and is afforded justice, peace, universal human rights. Today let us remember that we all are one family in the Beloved community and are called to love, serve, and shine with God's Light to everyone, even our enemies.
This night let us take time in the silence of our being to prepare to make vigil and light our candles and come together as the Beloved Community in love and hold sacred and abiding space for one another.

A Smudging Prayer
Creator, our Father in heaven, we come to you as your children. We confess that we are weak and broken images of you. We pray for the forgiveness and healing you give in Jesus Christ. May his Spirit clean our spirits, minds, hearts, and bodies. We pray that your Holy Spirit will help us to worship in spirit and truth. We pray in the name of Jesus, so that his Spirit will carry our prayers to you. Amen.

God we pray this night that we may lovingly stand in solidarity with the least of these and have the courage to care for them even though others may look down upon us.
God we give thanks for the least of these who teach us many things and give us courage to live lives that we would otherwise not be able to.

God we give thanks for all water protectors and those who proactively conserve the natural resources in God's Cathedral of Life.
God we pray for all of our family members who are facing violence of any kind may they be protected and that they may be steadfast models of right behavior.
