Good Evening Dear Family of Love!
Happy Wisdom Wednesday! I hope all of you are well and are enjoying your pilgrimage into your inner beings or heart homes. This isn't as easy as it looks is it? I didn't think so. Exploring our spiritual selves takes time, patience, letting go, and love energy. Our inner beings need to not be self absorbed but outwardly focused and in touch with the world in which we live. I know that sounds kind of crazy but in order for our inner beings/ heart homes to be empowered we need to let go and de-clutter the junk that is clogging up our spiritual vessels and arteries This requires placing our whole trust in God and giving ourselves permission to let go and let God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit be our guiding force. We don't have to make up the rules. God has made up the rules and they are based in Love of God, Neighbor, Self and caring for the least of these. Our inner being is where God dwells 24/7/365 days a year and even when we don't feel it. Last evening we talked about putting down heart roots. Our heart roots must be placed into rich soil and given proper hydration. That means we need to feed on the Bread of Life and drink from the well of Living water that courses through our veins. We need to be nourished by the fruits of the spirit. They will give us enough Vitamin Deity to make us spiritually healthy in all aspects of our daily living. A quick reminder what the Fruits of the Spirit are:

The Fruit of the Spirit
22 By contrast, the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against such things.
By cultivating the Fruits of the Spirit our inner beings will only thrive and grow. Our lessons today come from the Daily office and will feature the Feeding of the 4,000 Let us seek to follow Jesus' Way especially at this time of year. This God News reminds us about what we should be doing to help the needy and food banks at Thanksgiving and Christmastime not to mention all year long. So let us put down our heart roots tonight and find out what God is calling our inner beings to do. Don't be afraid! God dwells in each one of us and has a specific plan for our lives and loves all equally without condition.

God sustain us when we become unsure and give us the strength to just to be present with you and listen to you at the heart home level.
God challenge our hearts and minds whenever we need to move on and make changes in the direction you are calling us to go.
God enfold us as we make vigil and pray and go deeper into our heart homes and inner beings this night
God we pray that as we meet together in this holy and healing prayer circle of love that we will feel your empowering and loving presence with the nourishment we need to follow you and serve others.

A Smudging Prayer
Creator,
our Father in heaven,
we come to you as your children.
We confess that we are weak and broken images of you.
We pray for the forgiveness and healing you give in Jesus Christ.
May his Spirit clean our spirits, minds, hearts, and bodies.

will help us to worship in spirit and truth.

Nehemiah 7:73-8:18

Ezra Summons the People to Obey the Law
When the seventh month came—the people of Israel being settled in their towns— 81all the people gathered together into the square before the Water Gate. They told the scribe Ezra to bring the book of the law of Moses, which the Lord had given to Israel. 2Accordingly, the priest Ezra brought the law before the assembly, both men and women and all who could hear with understanding. This was on the first day of the seventh month. 3He read from it facing the square before the Water Gate from early morning until midday, in the presence of the men and the women and those who could understand; and the ears of all the people were attentive to the book of the law. 4The scribe Ezra stood on a wooden platform that had been made for the purpose; and beside him stood Mattithiah, Shema, Anaiah, Uriah, Hilkiah, and Maaseiah on his right hand; and Pedaiah, Mishael, Malchijah, Hashum, Hash-baddanah, Zechariah, and Meshullam on his left hand. 5And Ezra opened the book in the sight of all the people, for he was standing above all the people; and when he opened it, all the people stood up. 6Then Ezra blessed the Lord, the great God, and all the people answered, ‘Amen, Amen’, lifting up their hands. Then they bowed their heads and worshipped the Lord with their faces to the ground. 7Also Jeshua, Bani, Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodiah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, Pelaiah, the Levites,* helped the people to understand the law, while the people remained in their places. 8So they read from the book, from the law of God, with interpretation. They gave the sense, so that the people understood the reading.
9 And Nehemiah, who was the governor, and Ezra the priest and scribe, and the Levites who taught the people said to all the people, ‘This day is holy to the Lord your God; do not mourn or weep.’ For all the people wept when they heard the words of the law. 10Then he said to them, ‘Go your way, eat the fat and drink sweet wine and send portions of them to those for whom nothing is prepared, for this day is holy to our Lord; and do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.’ 11So the Levites stilled all the people, saying, ‘Be quiet, for this day is holy; do not be grieved.’ 12And all the people went their way to eat and drink and to send portions and to make great rejoicing, because they had understood the words that were declared to them.
The Festival of Booths Celebrated *
13 On the second day the heads of ancestral houses of all the people, with the priests and the Levites, came together to the scribe Ezra in order to study the words of the law. 14And they found it written in the law, which the Lord had commanded by Moses, that the people of Israel should live in booths* during the festival of the seventh month, 15and that they should publish and proclaim in all their towns and in Jerusalem as follows, ‘Go out to the hills and bring branches of olive, wild olive, myrtle, palm, and other leafy trees to make booths,* as it is written.’ 16So the people went out and brought them, and made booths* for themselves, each on the roofs of their houses, and in their courts and in the courts of the house of God, and in the square at the Water Gate and in the square at the Gate of Ephraim. 17And all the assembly of those who had returned from the captivity made booths* and lived in them; for from the days of Jeshua son of Nun to that day the people of Israel had not done so. Feeding the Four Thousand

A Song of True Motherhood

God chose to be our mother in all things *

God of joy, lighten our hearts this night and may we wake up joyfully and enlivened to do what you are calling us to do and to be.
God of joy, help us to be bringers of hope, peace, love, and joy to your broken and fragile world.
God of joy, take our hands and join them with one another in a prayer and circle of unity. May we hold these hands lovingly and with purpose.
God of joy, help us to give of ourselves without fear but with a joyful and light heart.
God of joy, help us not to take ourselves so seriously that we lose sight of all that is good and joyful in the world and sparkling in your Cathedral of Life.
God of joy, help us to be loving to the least of these our family members and may we always see you in them.
God of Joy, heal all those who have any kind of illness. God we pray for the continued healing of our bodies, minds, and spirits.
God of joy and love, wrap all of us your children who are grieving the loss of loved ones and special people in our lives.
God of Joy, we pray for all those who are dying and who have died today. Let your perpetual light shine upon them and show them your gentle and loving light and to those who are transitioning into the Thin Places.
God of joy, we pray for those who have requested our prayers and those who are afraid to ask us for prayers. We remember especially ____________________
God of joy, we pray for all the faith communities, leaders, and members who are preparing for worship this week.
God of Joy, we lift up these our prayers in the name of your Son Jesus the Christ who by His birth brought joy, healing, and salvation to the world. Amen.
