Good Evening Dear Family !
It's Monday and I sense a lot of sorrow and fear in the air today. I know it isn't easy but that's why we are here together as a family. These days we are faced by daily acts of terror, uncertainty as citizens not only in this country but around the world. We must come together and find hope in the midst of all of this darkness. Today it starts here together. Remember it is we not me. Our focal point needs to be a return or to or continuation of the CALM Principle. We must be Compassionate, Accepting, Loving and Merciful and look to God and each other for comfort and care. We must remember that we are the least of these and that means no barriers or borders. We all must learn to be courageous with heart homes ready to care, serve, and do what it takes to be one with each other without violence. We must use our voices, feet, arms, hands, and listening hearts and ears. We must pray, meditate, and make daily vigil to come together as one humanity for the benefit of all God's creation. We must be the change we want to see in the world. Tonight let us come together and pray. All is not lost God is with us.
Let us begin with our new mindfulness passage:

God of all love we come together tonight to accept your call to light our candles and pray. We pray this night to be loving towards one another. We pray this night for guidance in how we can best serve you in the world. We pray that we may be more giving of ourselves to others. We pray that we may be able to be hopeful and hope-filled to this fragile and broken world. We pray that we may shine your light and help people out of the dark places they find themselves in. We pray that we may be supportive in what ever decisions people make, We pray for the least of these who struggle with the day to day issues of living. We pray that everyone will be lovingly included and not excluded and invisible. We pray that we may be peacemakers and children of God. We pray that we may "Strive for justice, and respect the dignity of every human being"* We pray that we may build bridges and tear down walls. We pray for the courage to speak truth to power. We pray for an end to hatred, violence and terror. We pray that we may use our voices not to hurt but to heal. We pray this night that we all may be one and that we may continue to pray for London,Manchester, Pakistan, Kabul, Mosul, Baghdad,Egypt, Philippines, Orlando, and all places where terror and violence have occurred even when the media fails to report it. May we all be one with those who mourn and stand vigil for the peace of the world and in the places where there is danger. God we lift up these prayers to you with hurting hearts, open hands up lifted, with loving care and voices. Amen.

25 ‘And now I know that none of you, among whom I have gone about proclaiming the kingdom, will ever see my face again. 26 Therefore I declare to you this day that I am not responsible for the blood of any of you, 27 for I did not shrink from declaring to you the whole purpose of God. 28 Keep watch over yourselves and over all the flock, of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God* that he obtained with the blood of his own Son.*

Luke 24:44-53

Almighty God, you called your faithful servant Boniface to be a witness and martyr in Germany, and by his labor and suffering you raised up a people for your own possession: Pour out your Holy Spirit upon your Church in every land, that by the service and sacrifice of many your holy Name may be glorified and your kingdom enlarged; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Ecclesiastes 3:1–11
For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:

When Jesus saw the crowds, he went up the mountain; and after he sat down, his disciples came to him. Then he began to speak, and taught them, saying:
“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
“Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
“Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.
“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.
“Blessed are the merciful, for they will receive mercy.
“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.
“Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

58. For Guidance
O God, by whom the meek are guided in judgment, and
light riseth up in darkness for the godly: Grant us, in all
our doubts and uncertainties, the grace to ask what thou
wouldest have us to do, that the Spirit of wisdom may save
us from all false choices, and that in thy light we may see
light, and in thy straight path may not stumble; through
Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
59. For Quiet Confidence
O God of peace, who hast taught us that in returning and
rest we shall be saved, in quietness and in confidence shall be

A Prayer attributed to St. Francis
Lord, make us instruments of your peace. Where there is
hatred, let us sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where
there is discord, union; where there is doubt, faith; where
there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; where
there is sadness, joy. Grant that we may not so much seek to

God of Hope may our hearts give hope to the hopeless and let us be mindful of the least of these.
God of Peace we pray for ____________that there won't be one more act of violence and terror committed by extremists and those who suffer from mental illness.
God of Love may we lovingly respond to each other's needs and that we may love all of our family members who feel unlovable.
God of Hope may be be hope and light bearers to your fragile and broken world.
God of Peace we pray for peace in your world among all people who are your beloved children.
God of Love we pray for all who are mourning the loss of loved ones especially in Manchester, Kabul, London, The Philippines, Pakistan, Baghdad, Egypt, Orlando,Syria,and all who mourn losses of any kind.
God of Joy we pray for all who are dying or have died today that they may find with you in the Thin Places a source of eternal joy and where the perpetual light will always shine upon them.
God of Peace we pray for peace in our own lives, hearts, and accept your healing of our bodies, minds, and spirits. We pray for all who are ill that they may receive your gift of healing.
God of Love, Help us to love ourselves more fully so that we may love others to the brim and overflowing.
God of Joy we pray for ourselves and the many requests made on behalf of our family members remembering especially________ May they feel your loving and joyful presence and in the stillness
come hear your voice.
God of Hope may we awaken refreshed, relaxed, rested, and renewed to serve you tomorrow and in the days to come.
