Good Evening Dear Family!
Happy day of Sabbath Rest! One never knows where God is going to lead us during this Advent Journey! We were going to have a time of how to's for this season but God has called us into the #Wild to rest, reflect, and meet John the Baptist once again. John the Baptist is our role model for listening to the voice of our prophetic neighbors whom we don't necessarily expect to meet on any given day. Case in point, we have a group of homeless family members who camp out in the rear entry of the church frequently. Today Michele was seeking help. She needed to call relatives to get home and wanted a Bible. I gave her a Bible, a sack lunch, and comfort, and told her to come back to talk to our priest-in-charge a little later. She told me this "you have the Holy Spirit with you!" I was just doing what I'm/ we're called to do. Caring for the least of these means we need to go into the #Wild and listen to God's voice. The #Wild to me is anywhere beyond our front door. Today's pondering question is this, what does #Wild mean to you ? Write down your responses in your journal.
