Good Evening Dear Family of God, Hope, and Love!
Wow! It's Keeping the Faith Friday Fearlessly Without Fretting! Having hope allows us not to venture down the road into fear, At least I hope so. God has given us hope so that we can be resilient. As we enter into our Sabbath Rest and Self-Care weekend retreat, let us meditate upon the word hope and discover what it does for each of us and how we are to use it to bring God's God News to the world. As you know we have a drill here at Walk With Me On Our Journey, we do our Worry/ Sabbath Box-Jar-Journaling so that we can free our minds and bring us soulace (This means we bring our souls peace and calmness) and as CALM COGS ( Compassionate, Accepting, Loving, and Merciful Children of God). Now let us be at prayer.

We make our vigil tonight in the light of hope that God brings to us in many ways. May we carry God's light and hope to this fragile and broken world and all our family members.

He professes to have knowledge of God,

1 Corinthians 15:20–28

John 7:1–2,10,25–30
After this Jesus went about in Galilee. He did not wish to go about in Judea because the Jews were looking for an opportunity to kill him. Now the Jewish festival of Booths was near.
But after his brothers had gone to the festival, then he also went, not publicly but as it were in secret.
Now some of the people of Jerusalem were saying, “Is not this the man whom they are trying to kill? And here he is, speaking openly, but they say nothing to him! Can it be that the authorities really know that this is the Messiah? Yet we know where this man is from; but when the Messiah comes, no one will know where he is from.” Then Jesus cried out as he was teaching in the temple, “You know me, and you know where I am from. I have not come on my own. But the one who sent me is true, and you do not know him. I know him, because I am from him, and he sent me.” Then they tried to arrest him, but no one laid hands on him, because his hour had not yet come.

1 John 4:7-11
Beloved, let us love one another, *

Let us pray as we reflect upon our life today:
God we thank you for awakening our bodies, minds, and spirits today. We pray that we may always be grateful when we first open our eyes in the morning.
God grant us times to reflect up on our lives daily and make amends if we have hurt anyone. We give thanks to you God the gifts of repentance and forgiveness. Help us never to take these gifts for granted.
God we give thanks for all of our family members who we may not see very often.
We pray for the peoples who are our family members in Pakistan, Iraq, Nigeria, Afghanistan, Kenya, Syria, The Ukraine, South Sudan, Darfur, and all other places where there are warring factions, unjust laws, and human rights violations. We pray for peace in this world and may we become peace makers, light shiners, hope bringers, loving family members to all of your precious children O, God.
We pray for all the homeless, hungry and all the least of these O God. We pray especially for the gift of seeing Buena Vista Vince on a bus bench on Broadway this evening may he be safe from harm where ever he and all your precious family members take shelter.
We pray for all of us who continue to mourn losses of loved ones and pets and who face anniversaries of our loved one's passing or leaving.
We pray for all caregivers of every kind who bring us hope every day remembering especially:
