So let's step out in faith and Proclaim The God News which is Love to this fragile and broken world. Let us reclaim the basics of Love that Jesus of Nazarath keeps teaching us. Let us be holy pilgrims spreading the Good News as we walk the walk and talk the talk and join together in a holy circle of love and holy circle of being.

O gracious Light,
pure brightness of the everliving Father in heaven,
O Jesus Christ, holy and blessed!
Now as we come to the setting of the sun,
and our eyes behold the vesper light,
we sing your praises, O God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
You are worthy at all times to be praised by happy voices,
O Son of God, O Giver of life,
and to be glorified through all the worlds.
Dear family we are called to bind up the brokenhearted by offering ourselves to one another in times of great need and also as part of being in friendly relationship with one another. We are all wounded family members in need of tender loving care by we ourselves being CALM (Compassionate, accepting, loving, and merciful). Our shoulders must be soft and strong enough for our family members who wish to lean upon, cry on, and hear a loving heart telling them "It's Ok" " You are loved!', and most of all "You are safe!". We don't need any special bandages just our open and willing hearts to love, pray, sit, and take time when we are called to do so. Sometimes that may be a time where we keep each other company even if it is a mundane task. So dear family Be one of God's holy pillows, shoulders, ears, heart homes, and caregivers who gift one another with your presence.
Today is being Thoughtful and Thankful Thursday let us light our candles, pray and give thanks.
God when you called us into being, you made us in your image and likeness and that we were and are to be the Lights of the World help us we pray as we light these our candles tonight to shine our love lights into places where there is darkness. Give us strength we pray that we may have courage to shine those lights where we normally wouldn't see ourselves going. We pray for all of our family members who are in dangerous and terrifying places. We pray for an end to violence, terror, bullying, abuse, and degradation and division. We pray for a world renewed by peace, love, mercy, and clean water and a healthy environment. We pray for all of us who are brokenhearted and who need to have our wounds dressed and tenderly cared for. We pray that we may be the shoulders to lean upon and cry and the soft place in which to fall and feel safe. Give us the courage to be this place even to the least of these, our enemies, and those who hate us. God of all Compassion, Acceptance, Love and Mercy we offer our additional prayers and thanksgivings remembering_________________. God we lay these our prayers, and thanksgivings at the feet and arms of your Son Jesus. We also remember that The light and love of Christ in me recognizes the Light and love of Christ in You. Amen.

God we come to you in prayer with spirits that are hungry for a deeper relationship with you and all of our family members. We pray for our family members who are hungry for nourishing and life giving food. May their bodies be filled. We pray for all soup kitchens feeding programs food banks, and pantries. We pray for our family members who are in need of clothing. May we take time to give our old and usable clothing away for those that need it. We pray for our family members who are in need of shelter this evening and if they need to be out in the cold that they may be safely protected. We pray for our family members who are in need of affection we pray that our prayers may encircle them with a virtual prayer quilt of love and compassion. May they feel our prayers as a holy hug and embrace. We pray for our family members who are seeking relationships and that they may come to know that the most important relationships are with God and themselves. We pray for our family members who are hungering for knowledge that education may be made affordable and that everyone will have places in which to learn and grow. We pray for our family members who are hungering and thirsting after righteousness. We pray for our family members who are hungering for justice,equality human rights, dignity, and respect. We pray for our family members who are hungering for CALM (Compassion Acceptance Love and Mercy) We pray for our family members who are hungering for peace and Peace of Mind. We pray for our family members who have come to us with their prayer requests remembering especially__________________. Or these Let us all remember that we all need to be like the little children who approached Jesus and he accepted them with open arms. Jesus our Loving and Compassionate Friend, we pray for unity this night and may we never forget that we are to love our friends just as we love you. May we learn that we are to lay down our swords and spears so that wars may cease. Jesus our Loving and Compassionate Friend, We pray for the healing of all who are ill and are recovering from surgery or are hospitalized, May we find it in our hearts to May we find it in our hearts to step up as good and faithful friends and visit and comfort them. We pray that they may offer help to their friends when they need it. Jesus our Loving and Compassionate Friend, may we all learn to be accepting and inclusive of all of our family members who may differ from us in any way. May we learn to love with out limits and conditions. Jesus, our Loving and Compassionate Friend, Help us to make friends with our enemies and the unlovable. Give us the courage to do this and become peacemakers to your broken and fragile world. Our Fitness routine for a Month From our Camino Fitness guide is this: MONTH 1 Walk 5 km 2 TIMES PER WEEK - 5 k = 5 kilometers = 3.107 miles MONTH 2 Walk 7.5 km = 4.66 miles 2 TIMES PER WEEK + 1 DAY UPPER BODY You'll be well used to walking by now. Introduce some upper body exercises at your local gym. They will help with your balance and improve your walking pace Month One is all about getting started. Walking 5km on flat terrain should take less than an hour. You should be aiming for 45 minutes by the end of the month. The prayer walking framework is designed for all fitness levels or no fitness level at all when you can pray in place. We will begin with the toolkit a.k.a. the things you need for your prayer walk: Water Clothing appropriate for the weather Hat Sun Screen Well cushioned and supportive shoes. Music if you so desire. Do not carry a bag unless you are going to an event or to the store, church, appointment. Jesus was right about traveling light. We begin our time remembering to secure our homes and make sure we have our house key with us. Take time to secure your shoe laces. This week's tip! Extend your walking comfort zone by going extra miles! We need to be changing up our route a bit to engage and pray for new neighbors in new and unfamiliar neighborhoods. Pause. Give thanks to God for being able to walk in God's Cathedral of life. Pray for your neighbors. When you see uneven pavement pray for those who repair our infrastructure. When you approach a Stop sign. Pause, reflect, and decide your route and length of walk. Use the signage along the way to help you design your prayer intentions. If you are walking to the store - pray for the hungry, farmworkers, grocery clerks, food banks etc. If you are walking to the doctor's office as I did today, I prayed by name for the sick, the ill, for the medical personnel and for calm nerves for myself. I prayed the prayer requests that were given me. Adjust your prayer walk to fit in with your schedule instead of walking at a set time that may or may not work for you. Take time for quiet and appreciate nature. Introspection should be the last half of the walk. Remember this is a sprint not a marathon as we place our feet upon holy ground. Give thanks to God when you return home. Hydrate as much as you can and give thanks to God for the gift of water and feel it coursing through your veins as you are empowered with love energy to serve God in the world. Remember to honor our family members who are sharing the side walk with us and greet them. Our smiles and courtesy reflect Jesus to others. Those are the basics. You don't even need a prayer book.
