A visit and a prayer! Prayers for the healing of pain in our bodies and the world

Good Evening Dear Family!

Happy Being Thoughtful and Thankful Thursday. I have news about my appointment with my doctor.  It is below:

Ok, here is what I can tell you about this morning's doctors appointment. My Hemoglobin A1c is in the right range and the Hyperparathyroidism calcium level is no longer elevated. Dr. Krause cannot explain it! Now on to the pain. I have some kind of tendinitis and Dr. Krause is setting up blood work to see if it is some kind of autoimmune problem and get me on the right anti-inflammatory medication. I can't do any resistance training for now. That's ok. That's the latest on the medical front.

Let us have a time of prayer, vigil, and a time together:

Let us quiet ourselves and enter the presence of God with "The Be Stills"

Be still and know that I am God.
Be still and know that I am.
Be still and know.
Be still.
Be.

Let us close our eyes and breathe smoothly and evenly and relax.

God ,we light our candles and pray for an end to all the pain we are seeing in our bodies and the world. We pray that all of us who are experiencing pain on a daily basis may find healing and comfort. We pray for all of our family members who are finding themselves in painful and emotional situations where there seems little hope of  clearing and healing. We pray for all the nations of the world where there has been great pain due to violence and terror. We pray for our country that is experiencing great pain due to hatred, bigotry, division, and unkindness and hateful speech. We pray for our medical teams and those who are doing research into better pain management. We pray that we may learn to honor what our bodies are telling us to do today. God light our pathways out of pain and illness. We give thanks to God for your love, mercy, kindness and healing. We lift up these our prayers in your name O God. Amen.

An additional prayer vigil.

God and healer of us all we light our candles and pray for all who are suffering with chronic illnesses and pain. We pray that there may be a release from all suffering. We pray for peace in our bodies, minds, and spirits that we may find rest this night. We pray for all victims of abuse and terror that they may find strength and healing. We pray for all of our family members who may be holding the news of new diagnosis and pain from their family members. We pray that we may find the courage to ask for help. We pray for all those in the medical profession who are doing research into chronic illnesses that there may be cures and healing practices found. We pray for the healing of this fragile and broken world and that there may be peace. We remember this day the peoples and nations of Pakistan, The Middle East, Burundi, The Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Central America, Turkey, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Juba, Belgium, Franc, Germany, The United States, . We pray that our country my be healed from all hatred, bigotry, abuse, and the need to discriminate against all of God's Children whomever they may be. We pray for sound governance and leaders who will listen with ears of the heart. We pray for an end to all agendas that are designed to divide and not unite. We pray that we may follow Jesus with Compassion, Acceptance, Love, and Mercy. Let us  remember this: The Light of Christ in Me, Recognizes the Light of Christ in you! Amen.

Let us continue with our prayers!
