Seasons change but do we? It's the We and not the Me time of year. Turn that M in me upside down to a W and see what you get?

Dear Family of Love,

I hope everyone had a wonderful Sunday. Today as if by some kind of flip of a switch we find ourselves getting another hour of sleep and in the blink of an eye we are having a nip in the air.
Summer is gone at least for today and it feels like Fall and the approach of Winter. We continue to pray for rain in California due to the severe drought conditions. These changes give us the okay to hole in get comfy and begin yet again to reconnect with God. God gave us these times and seasons for a reason , so  let us make the most of  them. Let us make the most of what God is offering us this fall. It is a holy time where we have many Holy Days. I don't think it is an accident that we are given times of  feasting and fasting this time of year. God is the chief architect and artist as we see the many splendid vistas and views God brings us every day. We find ourselves following God the Choreographer by following the steps and path God has set before us during times of change and change of season. We need to ask ourselves "Seasons change but do I? " Many times we need  to realize at the this time of seasonal change and especially with the rapidly approaching holidays is this, It isn't about me it is about we. If you turn the letter M "in  me upside down it makes we. So as we begin to be in a frenzy in prepping for Thanksgiving, Hanukkah , Christmas, Kwanzaa, and any other holiday let us slow down and be more we focused. I challenge ever family member here to reduce the hype and replace it with practicing random acts of kindness and putting on an attitude of gratitude. Let us all if we can avoid going shopping on Thanksgiving and Black Friday. If you must shop on Black Friday please consider shopping your local small business and mom and pop stores. They are struggling. Tonight let us begin seeking ways to change from me to we as we meditate. You need not have your timer, mindfulness app or music however I'm giving you some music. to get you in the mood to continue this Autumnal feast and celebration. Autumn -George Winston Tomorrow we will make our list changes from Me to We.

God we pray that as we approach the up coming holidays may we ever be mindful of the least of these and those who are struggling emotionally.

God we pray that this season may be a time of we not me. May we place ourselves in the role  of being servants  where we may be of service to others.

God we pray that we may take our time and slow down and watch and pray with you.

God we offer our prayers for our family members who are in need of healing and comfort remembering especially______________

God we  pray for  peace int your fragile and broken world.

God give us the gentle tap on the shoulder and show us where we are called to go and be.  Fix our steps on firm ground.

God we pray for all of our family members wherever they may be that they may be protected and kept out of harms way.

God give us courage and the absence of fear  to speak truth to power and let justice roll down.

God we pray for All Saints and All Souls that  we may live by their example and be courageous people of faith.

God we pray for________________

God accept our prayers and those on behalf of others in the name of your only son, Jesus. Amen
