Walk With me on Our Journey: A new avenue but the same walking route!

Dear Family of Love and Pilgrims on Our Journey,

The past few weeks I have been thinking about having a standalone page on Facebook for Walk With Me On Our Journey so that we can expand our family even more and to make it easier for our family to find things without having to sift through my Facebook timeline or wall. May I have a drum roll please ! It is with great joy that I announce that this afternoon our official Walk With Me On Our Journey Facebook Page!
It has been a long time coming and I am thrilled at the possibilities that it will bring to our family. If you have any events having to do with walking, runs, 5K's on up for charity please feel free to post. We will call those events walks for causes. If you know of any walks with labyrinths, mindfulness walking, and other kinds of prayer walks post them here too. Let us know how we can help spread the word. If you'd like to add prayer requests they can be on my page or Walk With Me On Our Journey page. The Blog will be there too and you'll be able to see the current ones for this week there beginning tonight. Please check for our inspirational tip of the day and words of encouragement. The one thing I ask is that we don't put any ads or promotions on the page. The way we have done things will have a home and a place where things are brought together for ease of readership. If you are on Facebook please like the page! I wan't to be able to pray for each of you by seeing your faces! Soon I will have a way for you to contact me if you should ever want me to do a live presentation of Walk With Me On Our Journey. That's all the housekeeping items we need to cover.

Tonight was a very peaceful night for prayer walking albeit the city was humming with activity. We need the rain desperately and I keep getting worried with all the dry brush. Let's try to pray for rain 3 times daily or more. God is Good so we need to trust and faith that the rain will come. Today was and still is Keeping the Faith Friday Fearlessly without being fretful. Now that I'm really trying to keep focused on this on Friday I have discovered it is like the Sabbath Box that we had at the retreat last weekend. That is how our mindset needs to be all the time. Right now I'm feeling peaceful and almost on the verge of sleeping. That is good too.
Tonight our prayers will be more or less one line intercessions.

For the Pine Ridge Reservation and Red Shirt Table and for an end to the conflict over the land and that cool heads may come to their senses and protect the land and all that is sacred.

For the peace of the world especially the Ukraine, South Sudan, Sochi, and Syria.

For our chronically ill and those who are in acute and intensive care int the hospital.

For those who have children who are ill and under treatment for complex illnesses, their parents, and those who care for them.

For those who travel, and may God go with us and them.

For sound government and leaders who will use common sense when they write laws at both the state and federal levels.

For all our homeless, hungry, addicted, the poor, and those who feel lonely and outcast.

To be good stewards of God's Cathedral of life.

For those who have anxieties and worries tonight may they consider the lilies.

For all those who struggle each day to live authentically and long for acceptance as the beautiful people that you O Lord have made them to be.

For those who have decisions and choices to make that are difficult.

For those discerning vocations, and new life paths.

We give thanks to God for our new avenues where we can share more about Walk With Me On Our Journey.
