Dear Family of God ( Love) and pilgrims on our Journey,
What a weekend this has been so far. I feel at piece and this is one of those growing times where God is giving me confidence yet again to be standing and walking on my two feet and speaking about our prayer walking and blogging journey to new and now beloved family members. It is truly amazing how God is allowing me to tell our story through me. Walk With Me On Our Journey is having a powerful impact in people's lives and it seems everything I have been attending has been sharing a common theme of balance and Sabbath. Yes, my dear family we are in a Holy and Spiritual Sync. I believe it is not accident that we are doing what we are doing. God is in the midst of this special journey. Would I have believed all of the things that have been happening since July 2013 if God hadn't been at the center? No, not at all. Tonight, before we slumber let us take time to pray in place and let all of our worries, anxieties, and tensions be offered to God.
Dear God of all Creation we give thanks for the journey we are on with you . We pray that every step we take will be consecrated to you and to your glory.
We pray for the peace of the world tonight. We pray that we may take time to walk and bring your Light, Glorify you, and show y that you are the God who is love to the broken of this world.
We pray that we may consecrate time and space so that we may feel your presence and have holy conversations with you.
We pray that all of our family members who we regularly pray for are being healed, comforted, and given peace body, mind, and spirit,
We pray for our family members who are still living in extreme weather conditions and we also pray for rain in our drought affected areas in the West.
We give thanks for retreat centers and places where we may be quieted, refreshed, renewed, and made to feel and sense your presence as we learn to may rest and Sabbath times holy.
We pray for all those who continue to be discriminated against and feel the need to hide and not be authentically who they are.
Before we close this brief time with you O Lord let us add our petitions, thanksgivings,celebrations, and remembrances.
Lord God as we begin to rest in your arms make us ever mindful of those who do not have food, places to lay their heads and feel unloved. Lord Protect them and may we respond to their needs when called to do so.
Gracious God of Love who consecrated the 7th day as a day of rest may we follow the model that you have set before us and enable us to rest, relax, refresh, and renew. May we be led to be and not do and be re-created as you are doing since time began. All this we ask and pray in Jesus most holy name. Amen.
