Carrying God and our family in our hearts wherever we go

Dear Family of God and Love and Pilgrims on our journey,

Today I have been wondering what God was going to have me write on these cyber tablets and make it plain to all of you. This is what God has lead me to today:; We are the church and we carry the church within us wherever we go. For our purposes tonight let's use family instead of church and God  is within us wherever we go. Carrying God and Carrying each other will make the world a more peaceful, joyous, and loving place in which to live. Wherever we go and whatever we do God is there and since we reside in each other's hearts and minds the same thing follows. We all get hung up where  we belong. We belong wherever God wants us to be. Now the sense of self and belonging is a tricky one. Some of us have trouble knowing where we fit in from time to time. That is normal.Fitting in has little to do with belonging. Belonging has more to do with acceptance and being recognized as a Child and family member  God's family and that we are all on this journey together. Fitting in is not necessary! I repeat fitting in is not necessary! Going along to get along may mean sacrificing who you or we really are. Not a good thing to do since God has created you one way and you are going against God's creation or better yet, going against the grain. God calls each of us to walk this journey together recognizing each of us is made in God's image and likeness. That recognition means that we are God's family and family one to another. So My dear family wherever I go, God and you are always with me and we are with each other. As long as we have love at the root of this we will always be together  wherever we go. Now isn't that good news?

Today I remembered a song that Gary Walters' had the choir of St. Peter's Episcopal Church sing. It is called "There is a Church With In us" Here it is for you to listen:
The Church is With In Us O Lord click the back button when you are done.
Words & Music: Kent E. Schneider, 1967

THERE’S A CHURCH WITHIN US, O LORD

There’s a church within us, O Lord,
There’s a church within us, O Lord.
Not a building, but a soul,
Not a portion but a whole—
There’s a church within us, O Lord.

There’s potential within us, O Lord;
Something’s stirring within us, O Lord.
Something’s straining to have birth,
To be visible on earth—
There’s potential within us, O Lord.

There’s a fire within us, O Lord;
A new life’s a-burnin’, O Lord.
A fire for new life,
Combating present strife—
There’s a fire within us, O Lord.

There’s some building to be done, O Lord,
There’s some building to be done, O Lord.
Not with steel, not with stone,
But with lives which are our own—
There’s the church to be built, O Lord.

There’s the church within us, O Lord,
There’s the church within us, O Lord.
Not a building, but one soul,
Not a portion, but one whole—
We are your church in the world.

Good Night Dear Ones, I love God, I love you, and I carry God and You in my hearts this day and always.

Love and peace of mind and with heart on fire with love towards God and God's creation,

From the Charter for  Compassion:

“We are the world. The world is you and me, the world is not separate from you and me. We have created this world - the world of violence, the world of wars, the world of religious divisions, sex, anxieties, the utter lack of communication with each other, with no sense of compassion, consideration for another. Wherever one goes in any country throughout the world, human beings, that is, you and another, suffer; we are anxious, we are uncertain, we don’t know what is going to happen. Everything has become uncertain. Right through the world as human beings we are in sorrow, fear, anxiety, violence, uncertain of everything, insecure. There is a common relationship between us all. We are the world essentially, basically, fundamentally. The world is you, and you are the world. Realizing that fundamentally, deeply, not romantically, not intellectually but actually, then we see that our problem is a global problem. It is not my problem or your particular problem, it is a human problem.”
