A time of waiting, A time of grace, and a time to pray in place.

Dear Family of Love and Pilgrims on Our Journey,

I can't believe we haven't prayer walked since Sunday! With the weather that is happening here I don't walk in the rain and I'm still a little tender from the procedure yesterday. Today I rested for the most part and am beginning a period of waiting for the results of the biopsies. I was not going to tell you about what Dr. Vachani found but I think it may help us to pray in the right direction. He found and removed polyps and discovered an ulcerative lesion which was also biopsied. We will know more in two weeks. Please pray for calm. I'm not going to get wound up about this until its time. It is one week before Lent begins and we will be entering a time of waiting, a time of grace, and with the weather we are having a time of praying in place. Praying in place for those who are new to Walk With Me On Our Journey, is a day when I/we can't be outside prayer walking. I know what's next! I hope you do to! Let us now pray in place and find peace in this place.

Dear God Thank you for the rain may it shower down blessings of joy, cleansing , and blessings known and unknown. Heal our drought parched land O God!

Grant us times of waiting and reflection not just during Advent and Lent but at all times of the year. Help us to do this with grace, peace, and an ever flowing spirit of  joy and love.

Give all those who have to wait for results of medical procedures and tests loving and compassionate support systems.

May we always keep our eyes, ears, and hearts open to see our family members who are in times of stress and distress.

Give us the knowledge to listen to our bodies, minds, and spirits when they are in trouble and honor them and do what they are telling us to do through your still small or even not so small voice.

Give us these times to get all the junk in our lives sorted out.

Keep watch  O Lord over ________________________________
