Happy Friday dear ones! Time to start laying things down! Lay down all that you fear and replace it with love!

Happy Friday Family of Love!

I hope all is well and are ready to start laying all those things down that are worrisome, fearful, and may be causing you dis-ease. This  means  placing all these things into our Worry/ Sabbath Box.
This weekend's challenge is to focus on the care of our bodies, minds, and spirits. We need to be more intentional about this. We also need to pray for peace in God's broken and fragile world. There has been so much senseless violence, hate, and fear this week. We don't need to spiral out of control and fear our Muslim and LGBTQ family members. It doesn't do you , us, or anyone any good. We are called to love not fear. Tonight let us write down all those things that frighten us  and place them in the  Worry/Sabbath box.You might wish to use sticky notes to add each fear and place them in the box and pray away each fear. Pray and ask God to help you let go of each fear and replace it with love and acceptance.Tonight let's take out  your timers, mindfulness apps, and music. Tonight's music is  this: Thou Knowest Lord- Mix .

Gracious God we thank you for this day and all of our many blessings.especially_______________

May we enter this weekend with the intention of setting aside all things that are on our hearts and minds and go over to the other side to rest and pray. May we make this a time of relaxation, refreshment, and renewal of our bodies, minds, and spirits.

We continue to pray for all those who have been victims of  Police shootings in the Shaw Neighborhood of St. Louis and Ferguson.  We pray for all who grieve the many unnecessary losses of life.

We pray for all who are ill especially children who are fighting health battles of any kind and those who are hospitalized. We pray for healing and comfort.

We pray for healing and peace in God's most broken word. We pray for an end to violence and terror.

We pray this night for all of our families who work to protect and keep us from harm. We remember all troops, EMTs, Firefighters, Police, and those who receive injured people into the  many emergency rooms.

We remember the least of these especially this weekend . We pray that they may have courage to ask for help and assistance. We pray that the many churches may step up to help and  know how to give help when needed.

We pray for all who minster to  our youth and that they may be  in tune with those who may be victims of bullying.

We pray and remember Matthew Shepard today and those who have been victims of bullying and abuse.

We offer our prayers and those on behalf of others especially __________________________

Banish our fears, anxieties, and all the things that  make our hearts troubled this night that we may rest perfectly in your arms O God.

Love we offer these our prayers in Jesus' Most Holy Name. Amen.

+++++++

Good night dear family of love. I love you! I give God thanks for you this night and always.
May you rest without fear and feel God's love encircling you with holy warmth. Take time for Self and Sabbath Care this weekend.

Love, prayers, and blessings,

Sara
