We almost got to celebrate the final chemo today but we must now wait.

Good Evening Dear Family of Love!

We almost got to celebrate the final chemo today but, as in baseball sometimes the other team scores runs to win! I was at my oncologist's office and thinking that all was going according to plan , but  Dr. Vara a.k.a. Dr. Cutie Pie told me that my liver enzymes and Bilirubin levels were out of whack or as I call them Wonky! So we are on hold for another week. We talked about  plowing through with this and having treatment today but in order for me to not have any other problems with my liver in the future it was best to wait. So we wait. Waiting is  God's way to telling us not yet, let's heal some more and your body needs a break. It's a wonder that I haven't had to have a break or a reduction of the dosage before this. God is in the midst of this so I am not fearing anything. It gives me time to get more things at home in order before I travel to Los Angeles this weekend, Woodland Hills the next, and Utah the following week not to mention  a visit from the Probate Referee having to do with my dad's estate in a week from tomorrow. Lots to do but now I can have the necessary energy to do it. See God is  truly in the midst of this. Tonight let us reflect upon how we react to disappointments and  having to wait. Have we learned how to be resilient and can we go with the flow if we must?  It's time to take our timers, mindfulness apps, and music out so that we can go deeper into the center of our prayer heart. Here is tonight's musical selection :Yo Yo Ma Mix

God we thank you that sometimes in our lives we find ourselves in a place of waiting and not hurry up and wait. We pray that we may know your loving and abiding presence when we are in a time of waiting.

God teach us to be resilient whenever things don't always go our way.

God  help us to be sure footed at times that demand the best of us.

God  give us the grace and courage to support our loved ones as they themselves are in a time of waiting.

God  give  us the grace to wait, watch, and pray during these times of waiting.

God help us to see waiting as a time for reflection and purpose

God give us during this time of waiting a time for praying for peace and asking ourselves how we can be peacemakers in your broken and fragile world.

God give us during this time of waiting the courage to vigil and sit at the bedside with our friends and family as they prepare for their loved ones to transition into the Thin Places.

God give us during this time of waiting the courage to speak truth to power and to do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with You by using our voices and writing skills to fight injustice and promote universal human rights.

God  take away from us all  worry and anxiety during this time of waiting.

God make our hearts, minds, and spirits more tender during this time of waiting,

God  while we wait help us make this a time of prayer for ourselves others and those who have requested  our prayers and may we make our time of prayer more richer and heartfelt.

God  help us to be empathetic for  the least of these and help us to come to their aid lovingly with compassion.

God may we be ever be thankful, grateful, and  calm during this time of waiting.

God may we take time to be present in God's Cathedral of life and learn to help be conservationists of the Earth and all living things.

God we lift up these our prayers as we await the answers in the name of your only Son Jesus. Amen.

+++++

Have a blessed night! May we all take this time of waiting as a time where we may become more and more a family of love and a soft place to fall and where there is safety. I love you and Give God thanks for you each day.

With love, patience, and peace,

Sara
