We are on the next to the last leg of my Chemo journey! This is so exciting!

Dear Family of Love,

When we started this cancer and chemo journey in February til now I didn't have any clue how I was going get through all of this. I had my dad by my side up until  May 19th and then he entered the Thin Places. 2 to 3 days later I had my first date with a chemo pump and 5FU. Now we are on the next to the last leg of our and my chemo journey. This is so exciting. It is exciting that we are on track and on schedule. As we approach the end of this journey, our next exciting journey and the continuance of another will begin. We do more journeying in life than anything else. Each day that we set out is a journey. Life is  a journey with twists and turns and everything that is in between. Our spiritual life is a journey to and we are learning to love, follow, and listen to God and where God is leading us.See we are continually on a journeying path. Here are 3 questions to ponder and take with us into tonight's Finding Peace at the Center Meditation: What journey are you on.? What is the direction that this journey is leading you? and Is this Journey having you on a Path set by God or by your own choosing?  Lots to think about. Please take out your timers, mindfulness apps, and music and begin to find peace at the center and  meditate on the questions above and pray that God will lead you on this sacred path. Erik Satie Mix

God guide our feet, hearts, minds and spirits to the next journey  you are directing us to and have faith and courage to take the next steps.

God guide our hands, feet, hearts, and minds to love and serve you and the least of these

God guide all those who lead cities, states, nations in the way of justice, peace, equality, and acceptance. We pray that peace may prevail in  this broken and fragile world.

God guide all those who minister to those who are abused mentally, physically, and spiritually and especially those who are being abused that they may find a way out of this violence and terror.

God guard all those who are ill and facing all ill's trials and tribulations. We pray for their healing and comfort. We remember especially_________________________________

God guard and protect all places where violence is occurring remembering the war torn places of the world and in our own country and cities.

God guard all the least of these tonight that they may find shelter, food, and clothing and employment with living wages.

God guard and comfort all those who feel outcast and invisible. May we never look a brother and sister in the eye and see us in them. May we love, help, and comfort with compassion.

God who guides, guards, and keeps we offer additional prayers, thanksgivings, remembrances, and celebrations to you and in the name of Jesus the Christ ____________________________ Amen

God keep us in the shadow of your wings tonight and always.
