Dear Family of Love,
Happy You Matter Monday! I can't believe all the violence we have been seeing on television and on the internet every day. Not pretty and very unsettling to say the least. Prayer and more prayer is needed. We also cannot turn a blind eye to all that is happening but neither can we allow ourselves to become addicted to the news media. I'm inviting each of us to limit our news viewing during Lent and use part of the regular news viewing time for prayer and social justice activities such as letter writing and educating ourselves on the various causes of the day. Remember please that Everyone Matters, Everyone! Tonight let's make a list of organizations and causes that we might wish to take on and support. You may do this privately. After we make our list let us meditate on why each one of us matters! Is there someone with whom you don't get along? See if you can find common ground and look again at this piece from a few weeks ago. Finding Common Ground and use the prayers that accompany it. Now for tonight we will use those prayers and you will have an opportunity to see the photos from Serra Retreat Center in Malibu.

Today's wish is that we find peace in God's love and be united in God's spirit and grace!

Good Night Dear Ones and Lovely Family! I love you! You matter! You are precious! God is always with you and so am I.
With a heart full of love and compassion for you always,
Sara
Today I ask your prayers for the 21 Coptic Christians who were the latest victims of terror! Here are their names! Everyone has a name and is beloved by God. Please pray for an end to violence and terror and we pray for their families who are mourning their loss!
Such a peaceful retreat space. Someday I hope to do a weekend retreat. Thanks for the photos.
