Looking inwardly and outwardly to find some kind of wonder that is full of God's love, grace, and glory.

Dear Family of Love !

I hope an pray that everyone had a Wonderful and Wonder-filled Wednesday. When your feet hit the ground this morning did you feel like Moses standing on holy ground? When you first saw the outdoors this morning getting your newspaper did you feel like you were welcomed by birdsong into God's Cathedral of Life? I hope so every day we should look outwardly and inwardly and find some kind of wonder that is full of God's love, grace, and glory. No I'm not trying to get you to sing "Some Kind of Wonderful!" There are many gifts, wonders, and strengths  we need to seek and find within ourselves and outside of ourselves by taking off our shoes, breathing deeply, praying, meditating, walking in the light, and not taking ourselves too seriously! Tonight let us sit back and relax and find peace and quiet with God in the stillness of our heart homes and in the quiet of our homes.  I hope that you hear God's still small voice and feel a few gentle taps on the shoulder.

Breathe in the Holy Spirit

After you take time doing our usual breathing exercises (please see above) and spend time with God in quiet let us listen to a mix from Sweet Honey in The Rock or something of your own choosing! Enjoy these wonderful Spirituals!

Here is a childhood prayer that I loved to start our prayer time together:

I see the Moon
The Moon sees me
God bless the Moon
and God bless me.

++++++++

God we thank you for giving us each a childlike gift of wonder to explore, create, imagine, and see things through your eyes in a very special way.

God we pray this day for the many blessings you have given us and even those that we never knew were blessings.

God take our feet each day and plant them securely on your holy ground that we may walk with you on the journey of life you have set before us.

God open our eyes to see your fragile and broken world and that we may seek to do justice, love mercy , and walk humbly with you.

God open our arms so that we may lovingly welcome all of our family members and even those with whom we are estranged that they may be shown hospitality and love.

God  un-clench our fists and tight hands that we may use our hands lovingly in your service and to the least of these.

God free our hearts and voices to speak on behalf of others who do not have a voice.

God we pray for all those who need to feel your healing hands lain upon each body, mind, and spirit that is in need of comfort, healing, and compassion.

God we pray for all parents who are waiting in hospitals with their sick children. Give them patience and solace.

God we pray for all who grieve and are in grief's long journey.

God we pray for all who are dying and those who have died today.

Jesus accept these our prayers this night and always. Amen.

Good Night Dear Ones ! I love you and give God thanks for you this day and always!

With love, prayers, and blessings!
