Dear Family of Love,
Happy Keeping the Faith Friday Fearlessly Without Fretting! It was a beautiful and glorious day. Finally our weather started to get back to normal. I walked the Whole Holy #3 and it was as if the Sunbeams carried our prayers and my feet aloft. It was at the time of the evening breeze or as I call it God's time to connect with nature and us. God and Jesus are our prayer walking role models.
Thinking back to the sunbeams that you will see in the photos, I felt that they were lighting our pathway and pathways into preparing for Self-Care and Sabbath Weekend. Sometimes prayer walking on Fridays are just as good as the Worry/Sabbath Jar! I'm inviting you to try this method too.
Tonight let us enter into a time of quiet reflection on the day that is ending and look to Self-Care and Sabbath Weekend. There isn't any need to deeply ponder every dot and every tittle of the day. Let us ponder gently, kindly, and lovingly towards our thoughts, emotions, and physical responses. Let us be kind to ourselves as we need to be kind to others and "respect the dignity of every human being" (Baptismal Covenant, BOOK OF COMMON PRAYER). God we lift up all our cares to you so that w may prepare for our Self and Sabbath Care Weekend.
God we pray for our family members who have come into our minds and hearts this night remembering_______________
God we pray for peace in this world that there may be and end to violence, abuse, and terror.
God we pray that justice and mercy may roll down and flow through out our land in all nations as the Waters of Life course through our veins.
God we pray for all who are struggling with many aspects of life remembering especially the least of these.
God we pray for our family who needs to hear at heart and heart home level that they are loved and cared for and not invisible and outcast.
God we pray that we may find you in the eyes of all our family members and see love and acceptance there.
God we pray for______________________. Accept these our prayers in the Name of Jesus. Amen.
