Dear Family of Love,
Today I have been sensing from you dear family members a feeling of being lost, lonely, invisible, marginalized, and feel like lost sheep. I don't like it when I can feel these things but they are God's gentle tap on the shoulder. I'm not sure what causes it but this I know for sure it is related to our feelings of being left out of the loop, being on the outside looking in, and feeling like we are inadequate and not at all a part of what God has planned or even our own family's lives. We must be mindful of the least of these and that may be us from time to time. We must never forget that we are a we not just a me. Whoa Sara! You are sounding like Dr. Seuss! Okay, Okay, Maybe another day!
So my dear family let us never forget our family members in cyberspace and incarnationally and face to face. Remember Jesus never left anyone out! God doesn't, and certainly the Holy Spirit breathes life, love, and many other things into our spirits, each of us! All the time. What can we do? Its starts by making our love and hospitality list. I'm not sure what that will look like for you but here is what it looks like for me.
Love and Hospitality List
Say I love you and mean it! Not just 'Love you!"
Show your family members you love them by doing something special.
Pick up the phone and call. No emails! No texts! Call!
Be mindful of important days!
Welcome them into your life.
Look at them with the eyes and smile of a Loving God and Family Member.
Practice and do random act of kindness.
Be generous with you love and take time to be with your loved ones and not just get nervous and flee.
Give of yourself
Be compassionate
Cultivate warmth
Smile
Hug or at least a gentle touch of reassurance
Be sincere
Don't be afraid to feel and tell people you love that they matter.
Give in to love.
Love your enemies by practicing peace
Seek out the lost, lonely, and afraid.
You don't have to give things, Just yourself and your presence.
These are just the beginning.............!

Make us glad to give of ourselves freely without bearing a grudge or feeling a sense of dis-ease in doing it.
Give us the tools to Be compassionate
Take away any hardness of heart and help us to Cultivate warmth
Help us to be the lights to this fragile and broken world with our Smiles and lights in our eyes..
Give us the courage to show affection with a Hug or at least a gentle touch of reassurance.
Give us the grace to Be sincere in words and in deeds.
God keep telling us "Don't be afraid to feel and tell people you love that they matter!"
Give us the courage to love without fear and to Give in to love.
God give us the courage to Love our enemies by practicing peace and showing love.
God help us to Seek out the lost, lonely, and afraid and let them know that they aren't outcasts anymore.
Remind us each day that we don't have to give things, Just ourselves and our presence.
God help us to remember that These are just the beginning............!
Accept these our prayers in the name of Jesus the Good Shepherd of us all! Amen.
