Stained glass and odd rainbows and meditating upon these three words, hop, joy, and love

Dear Family of Love,

I hope everyone had a Wonderful and Wonder Filled Wednesday.  How did you start your day off right? I started mine at church this morning with our mid week Holy Eucharist and Healing service. When I arrived, I went into the church and saw this colorful reflection of the stained glass windows on the wall looking almost like a rainbow.

Speaking of rainbows when I was on my way to Pismo Beach to celebrate my friend's birthday, I saw what they call a Sun Dog. These are rainbow- like phenomena and to me are quite special to see.  These were special and I could feel God's presence. These always are hopeful signs. Tonight let's meditate upon hope, joy, and love. Nothing fancy in our meditation time just these three words, hope, joy, and love. To begin let us do a few breathing exercises and if you so desire a time of Mindfulness  5 Plus. Take time to reflect upon what these three words mean to you and how you can use them to go deeper into to your heart homes to meat God and be in conversation with God.

Let's keep it simple today:  Let us use these prayers tonight!

Now  take some deep breaths and close your eyes, feel the Holy Spirit empowering you and giving you strength and courage to serve God and be a loving child of God's Extended Family. Can you feel the Water's of life coursing through your veins and giving you energy to care for the least of these? Now take time to lay down all your worries, anxieties and the like into the Worry/ Sabbath box for the night. Don't go rummaging into this box!

Now let us pray to God and Give thanks.

We pray this night God of all and not some for the peace of the world .

We pray this night God of all and not some for all nations of the world and our country

We pray this night God of  all and not some for loving inclusion of all your children and especially those whom we may have inward trouble with.

We pray this night God of all and not some, for the least of these who are our brothers and sisters. Give us grace to lovingly care for them and see You Lord God as you see us.

We pray this night God of all and not some, for all who are in danger remembering refugees, captives,those enslaved by human trafficking, and all those who have been kidnapped, victims of violence, abused and terror, the missing and the lost.

We pray this night God of all and not some, we pray for all who are ill and are living with the many chronic illnesses. We pray for your healing grace and comfort and the relief of pain and suffering.

We pray this night God of all and not some. for those who are near death, dying, and those who have made the transition from death to eternal life and joy.  May they rest gentle in your loving and gentle arms and be welcomed into a new family in the Thin Places.

We pray this night God of all and not some, these our additional prayers ________________________

We give thanks this night God of all and not some, for these our many blessings especially ______________ and the things we listed while we meditated______________________.

We offer these our prayers and thanksgivings to you Lord Jesus who is Savior and Lord of All and not some. We ask lovingly these our petitions, prayers and thanksgivings in your most Holy Name. Amen.

+++++

Good Night Dear Family of Love. I love you . Feel God's presence refreshing, renewing,relaxing and preparing you to rest your bodies minds and spirits this night and always. Wake up happy in the morning and remember tomorrow is Being Thoughtful and Thankful Thursday.

Love, joy,hope, and heartfelt gratitude from me to you, filled to the brim and over flowing,

Sara

Dear Jesus, help us to spread your fragrance everywhere we go.
Flood our souls with your spirit and life.
Penetrate and possess our whole being so utterly,
that our lives may only be a radiance of yours.
Shine through us, and be so in us,
that every person we should come in contact with
may feel your presence in our soul.
Let them look up and see no longer us, but only Jesus.
Stay with us, and then we shall begin to shine as you shine;
so to shine as to be a light to others;
the light, Jesus, will be all from you.
None of it will be ours.
It will be you shining on others through us.
Let us thus praise you in the way you love best,
by shining on those around us.
Let us preach you without preaching:
not by words, but by our example,
by the catching force,
the sympathetic influence of what we do,
the evident fullness of the love our hearts bear for you.

Amen.
Blessed Mother Teresa
