Who Matters? Part II You do! Good news for a Double You Matter Monday and Take Care Tuesday

Dear Family of Love,

I hope every one had a wonderful Take Care Tuesday or better yet Double You Matter Monday and Take Care Tuesday.  Remember last evening's blog on Who Matters? Did we ever talk about why you matter? You do and let me tell you why. God made you beautiful. Yes you! Look in the mirror and see the beautiful child God made you to be. You matter because there isn't anyone like you. You are an original signed copy by the Master. You matter because you have gifts that were given to you by God and only you have those gifts they should be made use of by you on a daily basis. You matter because your family members, remember that is all of us depend on you to help us  to care for each other and you. You matter because God needs you out in the field to do the specialized work he has called you to do. In my case write this blog. You matter because God didn't make any mistakes of junk. Tonight I ask each of us to go deeper into prayer and find out why we matter to ourselves and to God. It won't be easy to do because it requires very intent listening and feeling God's loving presence almost as if we are on tip toe and in the quiet of our inner being! So let us travel to the center of our being with God to spend time with God and listen. Let us first begin with our breathing and mindfulness exercises.

Inhale the Holy Spirit.
Exhale Love.

Inhale the Holy Spirit
Exhale Love

Inhale the Holy Spirit
Exhale Love

Now repeat the following 3 times;

Be Still and Know That I am God.
Be Still and Know
Be Still
Be

Our musical selection for this evening is this: Spanish Angel - Paul Winter Consort

Now find a timer, mindfulness app, or music and set it for 5 minutes when you begin. Then close your eyes and be silent. If the music goes long don't worry that will lead you into our time of prayer and thanksgiving.

 Let us be at prayer.

God we come to you in the quiet of our being to take time to be in relationship with you. Help us to listen, feel, and be.

God help us to come to know ourselves better and that we may finally realize that we do indeed matter and are precious to you and to our family members.

We pray that we may have listening ears and hearts to welcome you and allow us to spend time with you.

We pray that we may offer our prayers in silence and stillness and not hurry.

We pray that we may welcome all of our family members into our hearts, heart homes, and our lives.

We pray for our family members who are feeling marginalized and invisible. We pray that we may stand by them no matter what.

We pray that old tapes that trigger memories of uncertainty and feelings of unworthiness may  cease.

We pray that we all may be one in heart, mind, and spirit and that we may serve God and each other with warm and loving hearts.

We offer our prayers and thanksgivings at this time, remembering ___________________

Accept these our prayers in the name of Jesus! Amen.

Good Night Dear Ones! I love you! Take time to care for yourselves and know that you matter.  Who Matters? You Do! This is Good News for a Double Monday and Take Care Tuesday. I give thanks to God for you this night and always.

Love and prayers from one who matters just like you!

Sara
