Keeping it simple! Keeping it still! Keeping it real.

Good Evening Dear Family of Love,

I hope everyone had a Wonderful and Wonder-Filled Wednesday!  The middle of the week sometimes brings with it a time of weariness. That's exactly what happened to me. today. I could do my duties at the church this morning and then I progressively felt fatigued and that wasn't pretty. I did  manage to make it to Cancer Rehab and do the whole thing without modifications I completed my outside tasks with the Caregiver Support Group and it was a wonderful session. It is seldom easy to have back to back events when you are feeling tired. So tonight we must yet again remember to honor our bodies and energies by trying to go to bed early and spend time in a peaceful yet  focused meditation. We will begin with our mindfulness  exercises set to music and then go directly into prayer time. Some days simplicity is called for. We must Keep it simple, Keep it still, and keep it real in everything we do.

Our musical selection is this: Misa Gaia - Paul Winter

Let us start with our breathing exercises using this format:
Inhale the Holy Spirit.
Exhale Love.

Inhale the Holy Spirit
Exhale Love

Inhale the Holy Spirit
Exhale Love

Now repeat the following 3 times;

Be Still and Know That I am God.
Be Still and Know
Be Still
Be

Now get out some kind of timer, mindfulness app, or music and set them for 5 minutes when you begin. Then close your eyes and be silent. If the music goes long don't worry that will lead you into our time of prayer and thanksgiving.

We offer our prayers this night in remembrance of all the refugees who have lost their lives today.

We offer our prayers on behalf of all our family members who are struggling to find meaning in their lives.

We offer our prayers to our family members who are ill and in need of healing.

We offer our prayers this night for all of our family members who are transitioning into the Thin Places and those who have died.

We pray for peace in the world and an end to all violence and terror.

We pray that we may become again become sensitive the needs of others.

We pray for those particular concerns that are on our hearts this evening remembering especially_________________

We lift up our thanksgivings to you O Lord ________________________

Accept these our prayers Lord Jesus in your name. Amen.
