Good Evening Dear Family of Love,
A Blessed Maundy Thursday to all and our celebration of Being Thoughtful and Thankful. Today throughout the Christian World we celebrate the night before Jesus died for us and washed away our sins by his death on the cross. Tonight many of us met in our houses of worship for the foot washing, a meal of some kind, the institution of the Holy Eucharist, and the stripping of the altar. We were together in the breaking of the bread and in the prayers. This my dear family was also the first Thanksgiving because the word Eucharist means in Greek to be thankful. Tonight is also the time we were given by Jesus the commandment "To love one another" I'm thinking that is where we need to start as we begin our time together. Right here and right now I would like us all to make a point and go to your family members at home and on the web to tell them "I love you and I give thanks to God for your presence in my life!" Take your time when you are ready we will be right here and will continue our prayers and meditations.

Let us light our candles and be at prayer. Let us pray and give thanks for all the wondrous love and abundance God has given us. We pray that we may follow Jesus' example and wash each other's feet and love one another. We pray that we may find familyhood in the breaking of the bread and prayers.
We give thanks to God for each other and take time to pray and give thanks this night especially_____ and all that is on our hearts this day. We pray for peace in the world and an end to hate and violence. We pray that as we continue to walk the Way of the Cross in the next few hours our minds and hearts may be drawn closer to you O God. We pray that we may be drawn closer to one another and especially our enemies and those who hate us. We pray that in this time of the Holy Triduum we may love one another and seek to care for all our family members even the least of these even those with whom there is division. Let us build bridges and walk together and tear down walls of hate and division. We pray these prayers this night and always. Amen.
