Celebrating our family with prayers, love, and kindness. Let's spread the word by sharing this blog with someone who needs it!

Good Evening Dear Family of Love and Prayer Pilgrims!

Happy Take Care Tuesday! I hope everyone is taking time to do this. Tonight's blog may be a tad bit difficult to write due to the loud party going on next door.  That's okay. It is a reminder that we must celebrate life no matter what day of the week it is.  How have you celebrated your lives this week or in the recent past? Take time to do this. Never take  your life or the lives of others for granted. That is today's central message. When we prize the lives of all of our family members and yes, even our enemies and those who are in the business of hatred and division we have gone along way into being faithful followers of Jesus and being a member of the Jesus movement. Today I had the privilege to celebrate the lives of our family members by handing out our shelf stable lunches at church today. Each face who came to the window was God and a family member. An awesome time , a special time and a time sent by God as a firm reminder. So tonight we are going to celebrate each of our lives together. How are we going to do this? We are going to do this by passing along this blog to someone who has never read it and needs to be reminded that they are compassionate, loving, accepted, and  are afforded mercy each and every day that they live, move, and just be. Tell them that you are thinking of them with love, prayers, and that you have their backs. Sound like a plan? I hope so!

First let us show them our breathing exercises and "Be Stills"

Let us inhale deeply and exhale slowly.

Let us pause.

Let us say the following.

Be Still and Know that I am God.
Be Still and Know that I am.
Be Still and Know.
Be Still.
Be.

Repeat until you are centered and ready to pray and celebrate by lighting candles for our virtual candlelight prayer vigils.

God of love and creator of all we light our candles tonight in celebration of one another. We pray for each person who is praying with us during this prayer vigil and  those who are not. We celebrate the lives of our mentors and teachers as thy come to the close of yet another school year. We celebrate and pray for all of our family members who are having family celebrations and even loud and happy ones in the neighborhood. We celebrate and give thanks for all of our family members who remind us of you daily. We celebrate and give thanks for love and courage to be beacons of hope, joy, and peace to all of our family members and nations who need it. We celebrate the special moments that remind us to lean upon God and each other. We pray and celebrate the gift of family in special and extraordinary ways. We pray for the least of these whom we should celebrate as reminders that we are to love, serve, and not seek to be divided from them. We pray and celebrated the day when there is now longer hatred, bullying, fear, terror, violence, bigotry, and division. We pray for peace and your Light O God may be reflected in us all and that we may ever remember these words "The Light of Christ in Me, recognizes the Light of Christ in you! We lift up these prayers and thanksgivings and those that are tucked safely in our hearts and heart homes in the name of Jesus your Son, our redeemer, brother, and friend. Amen.
